Checked in at 5pm 11/26 to a nasty, rude desk clerk. My wife had a similar experience with this same person 5 minutes later after we had issues accessing the condo. He threw a key her way and mumbled something. Thank God we quickly figured out the issue with no help from the grumpy desk clerk. Beyond this, the stay was lovely. Beautiful property. Heated pool fantastic. The view was amazing. And I must say, the other of the encounters with the staff was very pleasant. Thanks again .

Very nice property. Very tastefully decorated. Great views and fantastic weather. The only change I would recommend would be to replace the rugs in both bathrooms (and the hallway to the master bathroom) with rugs that have non-slip bottoms.

Great location

This rental was great. Indoor pool, gym, and sauna is right downstairs. Shuttle from parking lot to the resort. Shuttle from parking lot to ski area to enjoy ice skating, skiing, and tubing. Everything was super convenient. We never left once we got parked. Host was super responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

A very sweet New Year’s Eve at SugarTop!

We enjoyed a lot the staying at SugarTop. The mountains landscape, the tranquility, even the happy loud noise of the winds. The condo was perfect! Pleasant, comfortable and clean!

Phenomenal, Relaxing Experience!

We LOVED our stay! The vibe of the unit was welcoming, comfy, cozy, and relaxing. All new kitchen appliances! The unit was well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, as well as Roku TVs so we could access our favorite shows/movies during our stay. Internet connection was great. The beds were comfortable, with lots of pillows and extra blankets available. The owner was amazing with communication, touching base to make sure we got to the property safely and that we were enjoying our stay. We’ll definitely book this unit in the future!Sugar Top Resort as a managed property is awesome, with the pool, sauna, and fitness area clean and equipment working well. All staff were great! It’s important as guests to be patient about the parking situation, and be open and willing to listen to staff and park at the lower lots and take the shuttle up to the building. Staff are always kind and you can unload at the top before returning to lower lots to park. This is part of staying at Sugar Top as guests, and well worth it! We ventured to Boone for a show at the Appalachian Theater - highly recommend!

Just what I was looking for!

I was a little anxious booking through vrbo as I have only ever stayed at hotels and not used private rental sites before. Ed made the process so simple! The condo was super clean, very spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. I had never visited the area before and it seemed to be centrally located to all the places we wanted to see or visit. The Mountain View from the balcony was amazing and all the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful, too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
