Magnifiquement paré condo avec une vue imprenable toute l'année. En hiver, prenez une navette pour vous rendre à Sugar Mountain, ou profitez des douces journées d'été, du feuillage magnifique à l'automne et des randonnées printanières verdoyantes.

À quelques minutes de Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge, des stations de ski Hawks Nest Mountain Tubing & Ziplining, Beech et Appalachian Mountain. Près des magasins, des brasseries, des tonnes de boutiques, d’art local, du chemin de fer Tweetsie, du centre-ville de Boone, etc. Sérieusement, c’est le lieu HAPPY de notre famille car il y en a pour tous les goûts! Mes enfants AIMENT tous les Gem Mining aussi!

S'il vous plaît NOTE: Si vous arrivez pendant les mois d'hiver, c'est au sommet de Sugar Mountain, nous recommandons donc à quatre roues motrices ou des chaînes au cas où. La sécurité d'abord!

This was a beautiful place to stay. The views were amazing. accessibility to everything was amazing. Our teens walked in and loved it immediately. We rented our gear from a family run company called the highland house and they were again wonderful. Our teens took lessons at the slopes and were skiing within an hour. We will certainly be back.

We loved staying at this condo! The views were stunning!! The host always responded very quickly. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the fans provided. As other reviews have stated, you do have to unload and park elsewhere, but we never waited for the shuttle to take us to our car and back. Sometimes they even noticed us about to pull into the lot and turned in before us and were waiting at the empty parking spot for us to park so we could hop right in. The driver's we're also so lovely and friendly. You can pull right up to the lobby to unload and they have no shortage of trollys to use for your stuff. We have zero complaints and would absolutely stay here again.

Family ski trip to Sugar

Our condo at Sugar Top was very nice, but we were disappointed right when we arrived. We were not told we would not be able to park our car at Sugar Top. Instead we had to unload our car and then quickly move it from the unloading zone and take a Jeep Grand Wagoneer ride down to a designated parking lot part way down the mountain. Management was rude and said we could stay at the Best Western if we didn't like the parking policy. So to go skiing for a family of 4, we had to pack up all our gear and ski bags, ride in a Wagoner (which often we had to wait on because they could only take 7-8 people at a time) to our car, get in our car and drive to Sugar Mountain, then unload our gear and load it back onto a school bus that transports people to the lodge at Sugar. It was ridiculous! In the future we will definitely be staying at the ski in and ski condos.

Very Nice

We stayed during February and skied at Sugar Mountain. Unit looks as it does in the pictures. We had plenty of room or relax while we went on the slopes. The over look of the resort was nice though we didn’t get to see it much since it snowed while we were staying.

Cozy comfortable trip to Sugar Mountain

Property is adorable, CLEAN, and comfortable! We would stay again if we visit Sugar Mountain again. Unit is complete with everything you need-cookware/spices, games/puzzles, cozy blankets etc. The building’s pool/hot tub were a great addition after a day on the slopes. The kids liked the lobby store too. This was our first visit and we were a bit confused about the check-in process but this doesn’t have anything to do with the unit. We also arrived during snow storm! As advertised, you MUST have chains or all week drive to get up the mountain in winter and the hot water runs out quicker than you might want.

Great Condo

Great Stay Skiing

We stayed for the weekend with friends including two 5 year olds. The condo was in the best location and had a shuttle to the bottom of the slopes. It was fully stocked and even had several games for the kids to play. The view was stunning! We had a maintenance issue that the property manager responded to immediately, even late at night. We were extremely happy and will be staying again in the future!

Weekend Trip to the Mountains with Kiddos

We had a great quick trip to Sugar Mountain. Unit was in great shape and beautifully remodeled. Owner had great communication and provided wonderful instructions for checking in and out. Lots of fun things to do around Sugar and kids had a blast!

Love Staying Here!

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed in this unit and both times have been a great experience. Even with 6 of us, there is still enough space for us to maneuver and be comfortable. The owner, Betsy, is so sweet and always responsive and we love the views as well as the amenities of Sugartop. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Nice and comfortable

The owners were very responsive. Unit was well equipped. LOVED the black out shades in the bedrooms. Shuttle was rough and lots of long waiting. The pool was a little steamy and condensation was landing on us. If you don’t plan on using the pool frequently or have places to go to and from often this is perfect or if you are and just love nice views and a cozy unit to come back to this is for you!! We had friends in another unit that was managed by a property mgt co vs owners and their place was awful and not nearly as nicely kept. Thanks Betsy. We will be back.

Nice condo, beautiful view, shuttle to parking

This is like staying at a friend's place for the weekend. The owners are responsive and nice. Clean and comfortable stay. Shuttle to parking a little inconvenient, but it's a high capacity lodging, so makes sense. Pool was as pictured and fun. Overall a great experience.

Comfortable Stay at the Top of Sugartop!

We spent 2 nights while visiting family in the area. Stay was overall comfortable and condo was clean, well decorated, and convenient to Banner Elk. Couches and bed in master were not supportive so may need to be replaced soon. Was worried about no ac in the summer but it was perfectly cool sleeping temps with the windows opened and so quiet at night. Not at the fault of the owner at all but there were exterior paint renovations being done during the day. Our porch view was obstructed by ropes and occasionally workers on the balcony. Enjoyed amenities of property pool, hot tubs and workout room. As others have mentioned I can understand during busier times the parking situation would be difficult. There was no shuttle running while we were there but luckily we were able to park in lot A. Not an issue for us but it was quite the hill you had to walk up to the property entrance.

Beautiful condo with stunning views!

Renovated beautiful property! I would guess it’s one of the nicest units in the building! Once you are in your unit it’s fantastic. My only word of warning: the parking situation is a mess. They have 5 spots for check in and check out at the top of the hill. You will wait in line at the bottom of the hill if it’s busy. I spent hours of my vacation waiting in line to go up and down the hill in a shuttle van. They have over 100 empty parking spots at the top of the hill “in case” owners show up. They refer to us as renters and them as owners. I do not understand how they don’t get everyone is a Guest. I gave this a 5 star rating because of the beautiful job done by this owner. But I will not stay here again unless the parking situation is resolved.

Family Ski Trip

We brought our kids (18 & 20 year olds) on a quick ski trip. This condo is incredibly clean, beautifully remodeled, and has a breathtaking view. Highly recommend!

This condo is recently completely renovated. The views are spectacular, there are two bedrooms to retreat to, a pullout couch, and a full kitchen to prepare whatever cuisine you desire!
