Getting Around: We recommend having a car for maximum flexibility, but biking and walking are great options for nearby attractions. Rideshare services are limited in the area.

Please respect the following Guidelines:

* NO FIRE ALLOWED. No candles, no bonfires, no bbq, no lighting sage, etc.

* No Smoking Indoors. If you do smoke, please use the `Owl Ashtrays` provided, and please make sure all butts are completely out.

* No Pets or animals. Abby, our neighbor`s cat, might come to say hello. Please don`t let her inside to be considerate of guests with allergies.

* Heating Food: Please be cautious when heating food, as the Spyglass has only a screen door for ventilation, no exhaust fan.

* Please drive slowly and carefully around the neighborhood. There are often sweet lil` ladies, children, deer, bunnies, etc. walking along the road, and you may not see them if you are driving at night or too fast.

* No parties, no big gatherings, no nonpaying guests. Please keep this place private, just for you, thanks!

* The Robes and the Stereo belong to the property. You may use them during your stay, but please do not remove them (you will get charged).

* There are a few other structures on the property. Please do not enter them, thanks.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT:

THE SAUNA AREA:

Before Use:
Please shower with provided biodegradable soap beforehand to remove any scents and to preserve the cedar aroma. Do not use oils or other products that could infuse the wood or cause allergies. Please use a towel to sit or lie down.

Heating Time:
Allow 45-60 minutes for the sauna to heat up. The time varies depending on the starting temperature and your desired heat. The typical range is 150-175°F (65-80°C). You can start enjoying the sauna before it reaches full temperature. Simply push the round dial to turn it on and twist the dial to adjust the temperature. The sauna is on when three wavy lines appear on the screen. Note: The sauna will not turn on if the door is open.

Water Application:
Do not throw water directly on the heating elements, as this may damage them and reduce steam quality. Water should evaporate from the sauna stones, not the elements. Apply water slowly around the edges, preferably using purified fresh water.

Enjoying the Sauna:
Stay hydrated and take breaks every 10-15 minutes to cool down with a cool shower or by relaxing on a lawn chair. Sauna with a friend in case you feel faint. Enjoy the post-sauna relaxation, but be mindful that your blood pressure may be affected, so take it easy.

Post Sauna:
Prop the door open slightly to allow the sauna to dry. Turn it off by ensuring the three wavy lines are no longer visible on the screen. The sauna also has a 3-hour timer for automatic shut-off.

Chair Covers:
The chairs are covered to protect them from sun and bird droppings. Feel free to uncover and use them, but please replace the covers afterward.

Robes:
Please leave the robes behind but feel free to take the slippers and eye mask if you would like them. Drinks are all free to enjoy.

Stereo:
Please leave the stereo in the spyglass after your stay plugged in. Emergency phone chargers if you need one are located under the fridge
