Welcome to our private, renovated, personal spa in the woods. Including a large wood-burning Finnish sauna, it features a picturesque deck with hot/cold plunge over breathtaking untouched forest with fire pit vineyard-side. This all-cedar cottage is nested below Halleck Vineyard, one of Sonoma Countyâs prestigious wineries. A perfect retreat, you are centrally located for the best Sonoma has to offer

The space
** Please note while booking, to access the lodge and bedroom loft, youâll need to go up and down stairs. Not ideal for older guests. The cabin is small, and very cozy with a queen bed**
Enjoy a full private forest and a large Finnish sauna in our newly renovated vineyard retreat. While staying at the lodge I hope you can enjoy a long sauna, take a hot bath, and star gaze from the fire pit.
While staying at the lodge, join us up at the main house for a full wine tasting of Halleck Vineyard wines paired with local cheeses crafted for the best tasting experience in Sonoma County ($65/person). After the tasting, go down to the lodge and soak in the picturesque views of the private untouched forest under our heated back deck.
Working remotely? The lodge has ultra-fast internet to carry you through any zoom call or remote-working scenario.
Take advantage of the outdoor shower on the back deck after a warm cup of complimentary French press coffee. Please note this shower and bath are the only shower and bath available on the property, there is no indoor shower.
This lodge is designed to unplug, relax, and soak in the simple life on a vineyard. Our brand new full kitchen has everything you need to unwind for as long as you need. Please be aware, to access the lodge and bedroom loft, youâll need to go up and down stairs.
There is also an electric car charger available. :)

Welcome to my childhood home. I was raised running through this
vineyard helping my parents run the family business. Growing up, it was
common for my brothers, Dad, and I to spend long evenings taking
back-to-back saunas, talking and sharing the space for hours on end. It
remains a space to step away from the business and slow down.
Iâm now in my mid-20s, in Los Angeles, persuing my career as a
filmmaker. With my borthers and I out of the house, this sauna wasnât
getting much use. Only now, living across the state, far from home, I am
able to look back and understand how incredible this space is.
With that understanding, Iâve renovated this lodge as a way to share the
experience with more people. So I invite you to enjoy the quiet forest,
starry nights, hot saunas, cold baths, and hopefully a little wine after.

In Sonoma County's Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, walk among sprouting ferns and giant trees in the magnificence of nature. Beneath the soaring redwood canopy, you'll feel silenced by the trees' majesty and humbled by their endurance of more than a thousand years.
BODEGA HEAD
Drive: ~35 minutes
Jutting out into the Pacific Ocean, the small rocky peninsula known as Bodega Head offers stunning bluff top vistas, enticing trails, beach access, and abundant wildlife viewing, from seabirds to seals and migrating whales.
MOONSHINE ROAD
Walk: ~10 minutes
Going up the driveway and to the main road, take a left on Burnside. After about .5 miles, on your right youâll reach the beginning of the gravel road called âMoonshine.â Soak in the stunning views of our backyard with this 1.5 mile walk to the end of the road.
Be sure to go to downtown Sebastopol's Barlow where you'll find dozens of restaurants and local shops.
Getting around
There is parking on site in a gated property. Maximum of two cars. Ride share is not popular in Sebastopol; I'd recommend renting a car to get the best of Sonoma County.
