Luxury Retreat Near Mountains for Skiing/Hiking & EV Charger

Enjoy comfort and convenience in this 3-bedroom townhome near Salt Lake's ski resorts. Sink into cloud-like beds and relax in front of the fireplaces. The extra-large dining area is perfect for entertaining. Recently remodeled to the stud, the house features new décor and design. It's 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Silicone Slopes. Silent hours are between 09 PM and 08 PM daily, and parking for two vehicles is provided. There is an additional charge of $10 per night for trailers. This townhome is centrally located, only 20 minutes away from ski resorts during winter and with over a hundred hiking and biking trails within 5 minutes from spring to fall. You'll also find tons of fine dining and fast food joints, along with entertainment places just a couple of blocks away. Getting around Salt Lake County is a breeze, with travel time to anywhere in less than 20 minutes. Additionally, the Trax Station is less than a mile away. There is parking for 1 car in the driveway and a second car can be parked in the backyard, please do not block the access to the backyard.

Rules for staying at our place:

1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING. If you are a person local to Salt Lake, Utah, Davis counties, you have to message us before booking, if not we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and will not issue refunds.

2) Occupancy limits: We do not allow more than 8 guests in this listing or on the property at any time, violation of which will result in the removal of all guests from the property immediately without refund. You understand that this is located in a nice family neighborhood.

3) This is a self-check-in property: You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are being provided by VRBO through the house manual or check-in guide. You can find our house manual and check-in guide here on the VRBO platform on our listing. You also agree that you will not contact your VRBO host BEFORE reading the house manual and the entire listing.

4) Fees: There is a minimum $250 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property. There is a minimum $150 LATE CHECKOUT FEE if you are there longer than you have been authorized as our housekeeper charges us in such a case. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.

5) Quiet Hours are 09 PM To 08 AM.

6. Please remove shoes/boots as you enter the house.

7. WE DO HAVE AND DO MONITOR OUR EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERA(s) for guest count compliance and the safety of our property and that of our guests.

8. Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host.

9. We allow 1 dog under 50lbs as we pay for a short-term rental insurance policy allowing pets. We charge $50 per stay (message us about pet fees for longer stays!). This fee is not an additional cleaning fee. When you bring a pet you agree to a “zero impact pet policy” meaning that when you depart there will be no additional work required to clean up as a result of a pet being on-site. Animals are not allowed on any furniture and we don’t have any carpet other than area rugs. Please help us by closing the bedroom doors to keep your pet on the hard surface areas and off of the beds.

There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are at the property without proper authorization from the host. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.

12. There is no smoking on the property at any time even in the front yard or backyard. Please go to the street or elsewhere to smoke.

Just an okay stay

We thought it would be fair to share our honest experience. Communication was pretty slow. We did not get check in/out information until later that evening when I had to reach out and request it. Minor, but I imagine if someone was waiting for the owners to respond, which usually took a few hours to day(s), that could be frustrating but we didn’t land until 11 pm so we had time. The owners did apologize and say it should have been sent but didn’t know why it wasn’t. The description was of the property was not exactly clear or accurate. This is a shared dwelling with a family below. Due to that, a major thing we noticed, upon entering the house, it constantly smelled liked cumin/curry. Which caused us and our clothes to smell. We got used to it but I can imagine if you are sensitive to smells, this would be a very unpleasant experience. One bedroom had the worst mattress, which was almost like a box spring and our oldest could not even sleep on it. We had to switch it for our two younger children, who are much lighter in weight. There was no rug in the living room like the pictures so the space wasn’t cozy. The listing said daily breakfast. Truthfully we never expected it nor asked about it, but I want to make sure that if that is an amenity you are selecting this property for, we did not have that. Lastly, and probably the oddest experience was the goats. Yes. Goats. One day we found two goats sitting on our back porch. Personally we would not book this property again.
