Maison rustique à poutres et poteaux riche en caractère. Cinq chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes 2200 s / f peut accueillir jusqu'à 13. Poêle à bois confortable pour la chaleur avec sauvegarde au propane; a / c. Veuillez noter que lorsque vous réservez cette propriété, les deux poêles à bois sont la principale source de chaleur de la maison. Le propane est simplement un système de secours et ne vous fournira probablement pas le confort que vous recherchez lorsqu'il est utilisé seul. La maison bénéficie d'une grande cour et d'un environnement boisé mature. Détendez-vous sur un porche couvert ou une grande terrasse ombragée et profitez de la biodiversité de votre environnement isolé. Cinq minutes de ski et de golf Liberty Resorts; 15 minutes de Gettysburg. La propriété présente des œuvres d'art de divers artistes locaux de renom. Promenez-vous dans les bois sur notre promenade pour trouver une dépendance supplémentaire équipée d'une salle de jeux et de chambres à coucher. Il y a une taxe d'occupation de 5% imposée par notre comté et sera incluse dans votre devis.

If you are planning a vacation or getaway with multiple families around Gettysburg and Hershey this is the perfect place! It has plenty of room for everyone and the game room and hot tub are an added bonus. Check in is easy and communication with the host is excellent. It's pet friendly so you can take your fur babies along!! It's very quiet and secluded which was nice.

This is the second time my group stayed. We had a great time. Everything was clean and the house and game room are very dog friendly. The property is not fenced so if your dog is a runner be sure to have a long tether.

Great house in the middle of "nowhere". I say that because when you are at this property you genuinely FEEL like you are in the middle of nowhere. But that's FAR from the truth. Anything you want can we gotten with a quick ride or search on your phone. Game Room was a big hit and the fire pit was so peaceful. The pictures do NOT do the property justice, new fixtures in the bathrooms and the scenes you get to take in every single morning and night are worth the price on their own. The cabin offers everything you need to be both disconnected but not out of reach if you follow.Bottom line for me and the group I went with was that this place was a 10 of 10 and each of us would return no matter the group or reason. WELL WELL WORTH IT!!!

Secluded getaway

We loved the house! If you live rustic and secluded, this is your place. We had a blast and having a tourist town like Gettysburg near by was a plus. Awesome.

Great private family getaway!!!

This property was much more than we expected! The additional studio game room was perfect for the kids ... and adults. Pool, Ping-Pong, board games, books, poker table and bar made the down-time very relaxing. The addition of the hot tub next to the deck was very relaxing. With only a 10 minute drive to Gettysburg, there is plenty to do. Great place to stay!

Very quiet location. Probably great for big family get togethers. It was just my husband and I staying, so we took the primary room downstairs. Mattress was comfortable but the frame is on wheels so it moved around too much when trying to get comfortable, and was noisy. I think the extra cost of the hot tub each night is ridiculous, but that’s my own opinion. It should be included in the nightly price. Outdoor seating area needs some TLC as well. Also TVs need upgrading. Large screen TVs are inexpensive nowadays, so I was surprised that they were all so small. Watching a movie on a rainy evening was difficult with the small screen size. Host was responsive. House was clean. So a few minor updates and it would have been a great location to return to.

Brothers Weekend

My brothers and our oldest friends gathered for a long weekend. The house was awesome! It had a cabin feel with exposed wood and all the amenities we could handle. We spent time in the game room and hot tub, cooked out on the deck the whole weekend. Everyone really enjoyed the property!

Family trip

Very good location. Close to liberty mountain resort. We love the game room, the hot tube and barbecue area. The house had all that we needed. We traveled with our 4 kids and their significant others and everybody had a room and ample space to share all together as a family. Although it doesn’t changes our positive review, an additional restroom in the game room will be ideal.

Wonderful rustic family and dog friendly retreat!

We had a wonderful time in this very cozy but expansive farm cabin. Corinne was a wonderful contact and everything was exactly as she stated. The House was warm upon arrival and we dive right into the fully appointed kitchen to make our first nights dinner. Plenty of dishes and silverware for our group of 11. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise to us as it was not yet listed in the listing. It really added to our visit since there wasn’t any snow to play in❄️. We had a great time at the Liberty Mountain Resort one day and otherwise found plenty to do with our group at the house.

Great Accommodations for a Getaway

The residence was clean and very spacious. Had all the amenities and then some for a long weekend. Seven family members stayed in the main house and had a bedroom to spare. Back patio had a very large picnic table under a pergola. Off the deck there was a large hot tub in which the whole family enjoyed (extra fee) but worth it. There is a wooden boardwalk the leads to a large game room. We spent hours playing pool and ping pong. There were also several beds upstairs in the game room if you have a large party staying there. The game room also is stocked with many board games for all ages and multiple gaming units The host was very informative through the whole booking, check-in and check-out process. Our family had a wonderful time and highly recommended the listing.

Nan and Max are retired college professors and currently live in Gettysburg. Nanette is now a full time artist, and Corinne lives with nearby with her husband and two children. We are happy to share our home that we lovingly designed and created.

This home was built by us using timbers from Nanette's parents' barn at the end of the road. We lived here on a property carved off from the big farm for 15 years, and have leased it out for most of the remaining time. We often thought when we were at vacation rentals in other states that many of them didn't quite compare to what we had at home. So we've decided to try making it available as a vacation rental.

This home is private and secluded; the only sounds you are apt to hear at night are the peepers and the barred owls in the woods. The deck is a great place to hang outside, and the covered porch can't be beat for witnessing a passing thunderstorm or evening lightning bugs. Golf and skiing are a mile away, and there's easy access to Gettysburg and even day trips to DC.
