Treehouse Duo Lakefront 2 Private Hot Tubs
Summary:
Escape to Treehouse Duo â two private treehouses nestled in the trees along Belgrade Stream. Soak in your own hot tubs under the stars, paddle the peaceful waters, or share fireside laughter at sunset. With full kitchens, cozy fireplaces, and the lake just steps away, Treehouse Duo is a place for families, couples, and friends to slow down, reconnect, and create memories that linger long after you leave.
The Space:
At Treehouse Duo, two private hideaways â SkyView and MoonLight â are yours to explore, nestled in the trees along the quiet shores of Belgrade Stream.
Step inside SkyView and youâll find warm wood beams, a cozy queen bed downstairs, and a second queen bed tucked into the loft above. The full kitchen, with its cheerful vintage-style appliances, invites you to cook slow, homey meals, while the spiral staircase adds a playful, storybook charm. Just beyond the French doors, your private hot tub awaits â the perfect place to soak under the stars.
MoonLight, just steps away, feels like a rustic dream â rich wood floors, a grand king-size bed downstairs, and a cozy queen loft above. The kitchen here is dark and elegant, with open shelving and deep wood counters made for morning coffee rituals and late-night glasses of wine. Curl up by the stone fireplace, share laughter around the farmhouse table, and let the days unfold at their own sweet pace.
Both treehouses offer their own full kitchens, private hot tubs, firepits, gas fireplaces, and thoughtful details like Roku TVs, Wi-Fi, and year-round heating and cooling.
Outside, a winding stone path leads you to the waterâs edge, where kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes are waiting for quiet adventures on the stream. Sunsets paint the sky in gold and rose, and the only sounds youâll hear are the breeze through the trees and the gentle splash of water against the dock.
Treehouse Duo isnât just a place to stay â itâs a place to reconnect, to slow down, to breathe in the magic of nature and each other.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to their own private hot tub, deck, grill, and fire pit. The outdoor space is open and shared, and youâre welcome to enjoy direct access to Belgrade Stream and Messalonskee Lake, along with the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, sandy lake entry, boat dock, swimming, and fishing throughout your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Treehouse Duo is tucked away in the heart of the Belgrade Lakes Region, just minutes from charming Belgrade Lakes Village. Nestled between Great Pond and Long Pond, this walkable village is filled with small-town character â think seasonal farmersâ markets, a cozy cafĂ©, an old-fashioned ice cream stand, and local shops that come alive in the summer. Itâs the perfect place to stroll by the water, grab a bite, or pick up something special from a local artisan.
Just 15 minutes away, youâll find Augusta, Maineâs capital city. Downtown Augusta offers riverfront dining, breweries, boutique shops, historic buildings, and a peaceful walking path along the Kennebec River.
About 25 minutes from the treehouse is the picturesque town of Hallowell â a hidden gem with a creative, riverside vibe. Known for its antique stores, art galleries, live music, and excellent restaurants, Hallowell is a favorite among locals for its charm and character.
For golf lovers, Belgrade Lakes Golf Club is only a few minutes from your door â consistently ranked among the top 100 public golf courses in the country. With breathtaking views and an unforgettable layout, itâs a must for anyone looking to hit the links during their stay.
Whether youâre exploring local towns or simply soaking up the beauty of the lakes and forests, youâre perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Central Maine.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy and relaxed here.
Youâll have direct access to the stream just steps from your treehouses â perfect for morning paddles, lazy afternoons by the dock, or sunset fishing trips.
The village of Belgrade is just a short drive away, offering cozy cafĂ©s, markets, and lakeside dining. For even more local flavor, the town of Hallowell is about 20 minutes away â a lively, artsy riverfront village filled with galleries, shops, and some of the best restaurants in the area.
Augusta and Waterville are also nearby if youâre in the mood for a bigger day trip, but most guests find everything they need right here by the water.
Other Things to Note:
Treehouse Duo is part of a small, family-owned property that includes the two treehouses (SkyView and MoonLight), the Sunset Chalet, and the main house where we live.
While the treehouses are nestled side-by-side, each one is thoughtfully positioned to offer privacy and a sense of quiet escape. Your decks, hot tubs, fire pits, and waterfront area are for your private use during your stay.
Pontoon Boat Available:
From May through October, guests are welcome to rent our 22-foot pontoon boat for a relaxing cruise on the lake. The rental rate is $299 per day, and the boat comes fully equipped with all required safety gear.
Just send us a quick message to check availability â rentals are first come, first served.
Pets welcome: We love dogs and understand theyâre part of the family. Thereâs a $195 pet fee, and we kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture, are picked up after, and avoid the shared back lawn area.
Interaction with Guests:
Weâre always just a message away.
If you have any questions, need recommendations, or simply want a little guidance during your stay, weâre here and happy to help.

Ă propos de lâhĂŽte

I grew up in the heart of the city, surrounded by buildings, traffic, and a constant buzz of activity. Nature wasnât part of my everyday life â it was something distant, something I only saw in postcards or movies. It wasnât until much later that I truly discovered the peace, simplicity, and grounding beauty of the natural world. That discovery changed everything.
Hosting became my way of sharing that experience with others â to give people a chance to slow down, reconnect with the outdoors, and savor quiet moments they donât get enough of in their daily lives. I now manage a collection of unique lakefront properties throughout Maine, and every one of them is designed with thoughtfulness, comfort, and charm. Whether itâs waking up to the sound of loons, soaking in a private hot tub under the stars, or simply enjoying coffee by the water, I want each guest to leave feeling more rested, more inspired, and more connected â to nature, to each other, and even to themselves.
This work is deeply personal to me. I pour my heart into every property and every guest experience. From the layout and design to the small details that make a stay memorable, I want people to feel cared for and at home. For me, hosting is about creating spaces where guests feel welcome, appreciated, and surrounded by beauty. Itâs about giving others the kind of escape I never knew I needed â until I found it for myself.

Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
The Belgrade Lakes area is one of Maineâs most beloved regions, and for good reason. We chose this neighborhood because it captures everything we wanted to offer in a lakeside retreat: true peace, timeless natural beauty, and direct access to some of the stateâs most scenic and sought-after lakes â including Great Pond, Belgrade Stream, and Messalonskee Lake.
Our properties here sit right on the water â not nearby, not across the street â directly on the shoreline, with sweeping lake views, private docks, and immediate access to swimming, paddling, or just enjoying the quiet from a deck or hammock. Thereâs a sense of stillness in Belgrade you canât describe until you experience it. The water is calm, wildlife is everywhere â from loons and herons to deer and the occasional eagle â and the sunsets are unforgettable.
We also love that this area offers a perfect balance: youâre surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive from great restaurants, local shops, farmerâs markets, and trails. The Belgrade Lakes village is charming and authentic, with a strong community feel and a slower pace that makes everything feel more personal.
We chose this neighborhood because it allows guests to truly unplug, recharge, and feel like theyâre part of something special â not just on vacation, but immersed in the quiet, natural rhythm of Maine lake life.
