A 25-minute drive from Burgas, the family friendly St Nicholas Holiday Villlage complex is situated on Tsar's Beach in an EU-designated eco-zone between the Black Sea town of Chernomoretz and Sozopol.

The apartment is NON SMOKING and self catering.

The duplex (maisonette) measures 155 m², including the terraces. The two bedrooms are situated on the 2nd floor and open onto a large sea-facing terrace. One bedroom offers a queen bed, the other a full bed. The kitchen, dining room and living room and two additional terraces are located downstairs. A sofa bed in the living room can sleep two guests. Each room has air conditioning.

Baby cots, baby bath, bouncy seats and high chairs can be provided.

The Resort amenities and paying for things: The first phase of the resort (in which the condo is located) was completed in June 2006 and offers all Western-style amenities. The second two phases were completed in June 2008. Built on a hillside and extending all the way down to King's Beach, the St. Nicholas complex offers excellent sea and beach views.

Guests have access to all amenities throughout the resort. The first phase has a full-service poolside restaurant serving a variety of local and Western dishes. Waitress service is available poolside for hot and cold drinks.

Guests will have designated parking spot in a covered garage. The complex has 24-hour security and surveillance cameras throughout the premises. Guests are required to register their passport details at reception upon their arrival, as a security measure required by Bulgarian law.

Credit cards are accepted at the compex's restaurant. ATMs are available in town and in Sozopol.

Groceries and car rental: There is a mini-market with a good selection of food, fruit and vegetables in the complex. Nearby Chernomorets town centre has three small grocery stores, several bakeries and numerous vegetable and fruit vendors at the town square. For big grocery trips and a Western-style supermarket, you'll need to drive to Burgas to the Billa supermarket, which is located on the main road from Chernomorets to Burgas. Burgas also offers a plethora of shopping opportunities in its pedestrianised city centre, with many local and international boutiques, as well as a range of dining options.

Renting a car is highly recommended as the resort complex is right on the beach but outside of Chernormorets town centre, which is 2 kilometers away, and near Sozopol, 8 kilometers away.The owners can recommend a local Bulgarian car-rental site and car rentals can also be arranged at reception at the complex. Big international vendors such as Hertz and Avis also operate from Burgas Airport.

My Idea of Dream Vacation

We have spent our vacation at St. Nicola twice already (in 2007 and 2008), staying in this penthouse condo and we strongly recommend it! We are a family of three, the most important being 3 1/2 years old currently and as you can imagine almost everything revolves around him. We have found this resort and this particular condo to be the perfect location for both spending time together and at the same time having some quality time as a couple. You can easily stay in the penthouse all day long if you wish. The penthouse is spacious and allows to enjoy different activities at the same time - one can drink his/her morning coffee peacefully at the dining room balcony while another is checking email; at the same time the child could be screaming and splashing water all over the enormous upper floor terrace (providing of course you have conveniently arranged for a Granny to join you for your vacation!) The apartment has all the extras needed for all the routines of a small child, for cooking and for feeling at home. If you don't enjoy staying in though, then there is enough to do out - lay by the pool, get a drink or a snack at the pool bar or restaurant or take the short walk to the beach and spend the day salty and sandy (you should have in mind the beach umbrella and chairs have a daily fee you need to pay separately). You can also decide to spend the day in a nearby resort village or city - Chernomorets, Sozopol or Burgas and walk around or enjoy their beaches. In the evening you may choose the intimacy of your condo (it has all the amenities for cooking your own dinner), you may check out the Serbian cook of the complex restaurant, or explore Sozopol for places to eat fish bought the same morning from the local fishermen. The only disadvantage in the last two years was the construction going on around the complex but it was expected to be completed by the end of 2008 season. I believe if you choose this vacation venue, then all will be up to you to have a great stay!

Beautiful complex; comfortable apartment

This is a fabulous vacation home, located directly on the Black Sea, in a brand new apartment complex with beautiful pools and amenities. I enjoyed my stay here a great deal. The apartment was very comfortable - everything is new and clean. The complex is right on the sea. The walk down to the beach only takes a few minutes, and there are also beautiful pools to swim in. There is a great poolside restaurant as well. The apartment has two spacious bedrooms, one large terrace off the bedrooms and one smaller terrace off the dining area with an outdoor table. There is also a third small terrace that can be used for barbecueing. The apartment is tastefully furnished and everything is in good shape. The complex is close to the village of Chernomorets and a short driving distance from the town of Sozopol, where visitors can enjoy a wealth of restaurants and activities.
