It was not maintained well. It was dirty, the mattress was nasty, the outside needy some maintenance, some of the plugs didn’t work, the lamps in bedrooms were so dime you couldn’t see and there was a lot of road noise. No hand soap in bathrooms. It was in a good location. Hope whoever rents it will read the reviews and they are true.

The only negative thing i can say is none of the TVs work/ cable/ no channels worked? Otherwise great, clean, good location.

I would encourage anyone looking at this cabin to run away. There were no check in or check out instructions sent. Had to call and message to get code to enter the property. Once in that is where the real issues started. We booked this place specifically because of the bunk beds and having five 13 year old girls with us for a birthday trip. None of the bunk beds were made which was irritating but that was only the start. When we went to make the beds up, all of the mattresses and pillows were covered in pee and blood stains. It was disgusting. To further make things worse when we contacted the property owner about the issues we were told "we apologize" and that was the end of the conversation. They ignored every message, call, and attempt to have any sort of a discussion to try and resolve the issues. We are now going through VRBO to resolve the issue as there is no communication from the owner. The lack of care of the condition of the property is less troubling than the lack of care towards their customers. VRBO was appalled at the pictures they received and are taking further action. I hope this review and the pictures I will attach help prevent others from having the same problems we encountered. Some simple conversation regarding the matter and any attempt at let me bring you new pillows, mattress covers, etc. would have gone a long way towards resolving the issues. Only 8 photos allowed unfortunately as there were many more

House was clean, lower level could use some cleaning. It had a lot of spider webs. The WiFi wasn’t working and unable to locate router to reset and no cable working (it had finite channel guide but wouldn’t load channels). Overall we love the house, it’s our 2nd time staying in the home. Heather is great and quick to respond. Thank you for another great trip for our Angel Moms Retreat!

The property was just as advertised and easy to find. There is plenty of room for parking and the house is big enough for a big group.

Nice Place

Its a big property. Living area is on the second and third floor. Home was beautiful. Lacked hand soap in the bathrooms and it would have been nice to have a few outside chairs.. Lication is close to everything you need. Not in a quiet secluded area. So if you are expecting a wilderness in the forrest experience nope.

Disappointing!

I can tell that this was once a beautiful property with stunning views. I imagined how it must have been when it was first built and before the highway and shops were built around it.This property was not prepared for our stay. It appeared to have been vacant for quite a while. There were spider webs, spiders and bugs (dead and alive) everywhere. The first floor was mostly empty with the exception of the entrance area which had a sofa, chair, and table. The "bunk" room (the room with 3 bunk beds) is adjacent to that space. The mattresses on the bunks were soiled and bare. Linen was folded and left on the bunks for us to make the beds. I thought that was weird. The slats on the bunks were broken in several places. We were reluctant to sleep on them for fear they might collapse.The second and third floors were a little better but the lighting was poor and didn't work at all in two of the bedrooms. There is a large kitchen on the 2nd floor but the microwave does not work.Our family was in town for a graduation and did not arrive to the property until late. We didn't have many options at that point but I'm so glad we were only booked for one night. I could not have stayed any longer.I see the potential in this place, but it was not a good experience for us.

The building itself is very nice. The grill was terrible and there was no propane. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the spot. You are literally right next to the interstate. Would not be a bad spot for a ball team to stay or a youth group due to large punk bed area downstairs.

Great Location

This is a great space! Plenty of room for our crew. Very clean, looks great! Would have given 5 stars but I had trouble when i set the temp on the thermostat. It was a cold night and I couldn't get the rooms heat up enough.

Large log house, deal with the layout

Easy I 40 access, and Sevierville, Gatlinburg on a holiday though, pack patience it takes forever.Lots of room at the log house. Layout for more than 5 is challenging, ya have room though.WiFi wasn’t the best, worked most of the time.
