Stunning Seafront Villa in Lagun, Curacao – 5 Bedrooms with Direct Sea Access

This gorgeous, recently built 5 bedroom seaside holiday villa is located in the small fishing village of Lagun, on the quiet west side of the island. The pool invites you for a fresh dip and you your own private staircase in to the sea so you can take a dip in the crystal clear Caribbean water. It is also within walking distance of just a few minutes from beautiful Lagun Beach and less than 1 km from Jeremi Beach. Every evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Caribbean Sea from your private terrace. All of this together offers all the luxury and amenities you need for a perfect and relaxing holiday.

Inside, the house offers 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a fully equipped luxury kitchen, a (airconditioned) living room, a laundry room and a veranda with dining area and a barbeque place. Outside there is a veranda in front of the house overlooking the beautiful hills, a luxury lounge set with ocean views, outdoor shower and diving facilities. Last but certainly not least there is a staircase that leads you to the clear blue sea for swimming, snorkeling, diving or perhaps just to relax and listen to the sound of the ocean fishing.
Guests have full access to the entire home, with the exception of some of the owners' personal closet space. For privacy and security the property is completely surrounded by walls and fences.

The most beautiful beaches of Curaçao are all located near our Villa, such as: Grote Knip, Klein Knip, Playa Lagun, playa Forti, Playa Piskado (Playa Grandi), Cas Abou, Playa Porto Marie etc.

Beautiful accommodation with stunning view !

Overall, we had a wonderful time! The view and private pool were fabulous. We used the pool daily as the yard is in direct sun all afternoon and can get very hot. Direct ocean access and snorkeling!! located at the quieter end of the island which we preferred. Close to a number of beautiful beaches and a few restaurants (1-10min driving) but further from a decent grocery store, which we knew ahead of time and took turns making trips. The place slept 10 people comfortably with plenty of bathrooms. Very clean! Quiet neighborhood. Some necessities we felt were missing:Hand towels for the bathrooms, wash cloths, and kitchen towels. We had one shower and one beach towel each that were used daily and couldn’t be spared for kitchen use. Definitely not enough toilet paper for 9 people (and we are not over users).The master suite was amazing but did not have a fitted sheet. Instead, a regular flat sheet covered the mattress and often needed adjusting or the mattress would become exposed. We would have loved balcony furniture to enjoy the balcony. extra info:Although they were respectful and appeared to try and make themselves scarce, there were some people doing construction next door. Not the end of the world but it did take away from the relaxing atmosphere a little. It also left debris on our chairs, in the pool and around the patio that were a little sharp if stepped on. Not a deal breaker to us, but may have been to others.

A Potential Property but Very Misleading

The villa has great potential, but there are several issues that need addressing to align it with the listing as it currently stands.Upon arrival, we noticed the villa lacked general cleanliness, with hard water stains on the shower walls, stains on the unfitted bed sheets, towels, and bathroom rugs, as well as dirty walls throughout. The pool was also dirty, which we reported immediately. Additionally, there was no hot water, with only lukewarm water available for our entire stay. However, the biggest issue was the ongoing construction next door, which occurred daily from 8 AM to at least 5 PM, and was not mentioned in the listing information.The construction noise made it impossible to relax inside the villa or by the pool during the day, forcing us to vacate the property daily. This was especially difficult since one of our party members has limited mobility. The constant noise, from loud machinery to hammering, created an extremely disruptive environment, where we were unable to enjoy the villa’s amenities or the planned downtime we had hoped for.When we reached out to the hosts about the disruption, we were offered a 25% discount on the power bill, which amounted to just 25 on a 6,000 stay—a minimal compensation given the fact that we spent more than 25% of our entire time forced to vacate the property because of the daily disturbance. While the villa has potential, these issues need to addressed within the listing for full transparency to potential guests.
