I cannot in good conscience recommend this property. Although the house was adequate and although many of the other reviews rate it quite highly, I can tell you first hand that if something goes wrong, you will not have an easy time getting help and support from the host. Even before our trip started, the host was difficult to get ahold of, just for basic questions. When we arrived, 3 hours after check-in, the property had not yet been cleaned. The owner told us the cleaners would be right over, but it took them 45 minutes to arrive and another 90 minutes to clean. I had to threaten to leave and find other lodging before the owner took me seriously. He verbally offered to compensate us, and so we stayed. Our trip ended on Jan 1st and I have waited to post this review in the hopes that he would keep his promise of compensation, but he hasn't. If I have to boil it down, it's this: This host obviously doesn't care about customer service. There were a few problems with this rental, but in order to get anything resolved, I had to ask and ask and ask. If you still feel like this is the property for you, you need to know that the driveway is *incredibly* steep. You do have access to the garage, but if you have a large vehicle, like a Suburban or Expedition, you won't be able to make it up over the edge of the driveway into the garage without hitting the garage door. I can't imagine how someone with mobility issues would be able to manage.
