NOT A VILLA- not in a gated community either
Upon arrival I was greeted by two sweet people who were very nice during the stay. They lived at the bottom of the house and we were directed to stay on the upper level. The property looked great and very homey. They provided a clean and comfortable space. I was very disappointed that the kitchenette had everything but a stove which was very inconvienet. The main issue I had with this booking is that they didn't put correct information on the site. When I booked I searched Kingston and read the info that was provided that said it was 9 minutes from Devon's house. This location is actually in portmore which was a total inconvenience as all our events were in new Kingston, which was a lot financially because we didn't have a car and we needed to take a taxi. Another issue is that it was extremely loud. Because there are people living downstairs, you can hear everything. I tried blasting music and that still didn't help. The icing on the cake was when I got a call saying that there won't be any water because there fixing the pipe which was half of the day. Expect only cold water as this unit doesn't have warm water. Nonetheless, despite the inaccurate information and downfalls,the space itself was very comfortable and the hosts were so sweet ( the elders). I hate to write a bad review but the person who is responsible for renting this out was very inconsiderate and selfish, as I spoke with her and she only apologized and said the information on the site is now corrected.
