Very new, clean property near downtown Cincinnatti, OH. Raven responded quickly. I appreciated the secure locks on the outer door to the street and to the residence. This residence is in a transitioning neighborhood, so I experienced loud music, traffic and pedestrian noise when I stayed. Also I couldn't figure out how to get the blinds to completely extend to block out the very necessary bright street and security lights and or dampen the sounds of the street corner at night.

This place is roughly a 20 min walk to Great American Ballpark. Finally market is about a 6 min walk. Tons of restaurants and pubs around this place. I personally read the reviews about the noise in the area in the late nights but I had no issue what so ever as I’m use to city noises at night. Parking is simple but could be confusing at first but had no issues as the host was super responsive. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Cincy

The apartment was mostly clean, and made a good first impression. The washer/dryer and air conditioner worked well, and the host was responsive. The owners, who also run the restaurant and tech store downstairs, were friendly. The provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were good quality.Parking was a major issue. The designated space was frequently occupied, forcing us to wait for it to be cleared or park on the street, which did not feel safe given the neighborhood. The apartment was also sparsely stocked. Basic items like a dish sponge and bathroom trash can were missing, and despite the listing promising coffee and snacks, only a nearly empty jar of instant coffee was provided. The keypad lock often malfunctioned, though the host provided a key later on.The apartment requires climbing two very steep flights of stairs, the bathroom is very small, and the open layout of the apartment would benefit from a curtain or door separating the bedroom from the living area. A large security camera outside faces the bedroom windows, so we kept the blinds closed much of the time.Our biggest concern was the neighborhood. Groups regularly gathered outside day and night, and we were often approached when entering or leaving. We observed activity that made us uncomfortable, and the constant noise, including loud music into the early morning, made it difficult to relax despite the provided earplugs.

Excellent Choice

Excellent choice for our weekend downtown Here’s what you need to know Location: Centrally located and walkable to restaurants and downtown events. Easy walk all the way to the riverfront if you want. It is on a busy corner and there is street noise as indicated by the hosts, but it was only loud for our stay on Saturday night when there was a busy event in the area. Otherwise, expected urban traffic and street noise easily handled with earplugs or white noise if you are a light sleeper Beds: Firm comfortable queen. Did not sleep on the sofa bed, but it looked new and there is room to move it to the bedroom floor if you have little ones Kitchen: Super clean and stocked to cook Bathroom: Beautiful and nice complementary amenities if you forgot critical items Parking: A little congested, but a dedicated space and hosts are easy to get ahold of if coordination is needed with other cars Great place to stay and super responsive hosts!

The apartment itself was clean and remodeled but the floor itself was not level and slanted to an alarming degree. The real problem was the location…. It was adjacent to a food bank, a homeless tent encampment and what appeared to be an illegal corner drug store! The area is not safe even during the daylight hours. Within 5 minutes of arrival we witnessed a serious altercation between a group of locals (loitering on the corner) and law enforcement. Over the next 45 minutes while attempting to cancel the stay, we witnessed 3 other separate incidents between the police and numerous different groups of people obviously doing questionable activities on the block. All reviews shown on the listing were 10 out of 10…. None of them could be accurate for this property in this location. Beware!
