Be prepared for frequent wildlife sightings, including osprey, eagles, deer, rabbit, fox, and much more. A quiet, peaceful respite awaits your family at this beautiful waterfront home. The home boasts five bedrooms with two additional pullout sofas sleeping up to ten very comfortably.

Welcome to Travelers Rest!

A quiet and secluded neighborhood true to its name where homes are tucked away on large waterfront lots. Be prepared for frequent wildlife sightings, including osprey, eagles, deer, rabbit, fox, and much more. A quiet, peaceful respite awaits your family at this beautiful waterfront home. The home boasts five bedrooms with two additional pullout sofas, sleeping ten very comfortably.

Inside, enjoy the open floor plan living with comfortable areas for entertaining and lively discussion. Sit out by the sunroom and enjoy the sunrise and sunset all while surrounded by the beauty of nature. The bathrooms and kitchen were recently upgraded by the owners according to their love for preparing gourmet meals.

Multiple fireplaces, open floor plan, and surrounding windows highlight your experience in the outdoors.

But the true beauty of this property is the environment surrounding the home. Enjoy the unique natural shoreline at the Tred Avon River while relaxing by the pool or outdoor fire pit. The dock comes with a canoe and sailboat ready to easily launched. Fishing, crabbing, and dinghy gear is complementary. Bring your bikes to explore the quiet, secluded community.

Kids are welcome, and be sure to enjoy the expansive book collection in the library, learn new games and take advantage of many children's activities you'll find included in this warm home of a family of six. They are currently off on an adventure sailing the far seas and look forward to sharing their eastern shore retreat with your family!

Master bedroom facing the Tred Avon River with king bed and large master bath with large soaking tub and stand- up shower. Private toilet with bidet as well.

Second suite features a queen bed, baby crib and attached full bath.

Third bedroom off entry has a queen-size sleeper sofa with comfy memory foam mattress. Also adjacent to the half bath off the living area.

Second floor fourth bedroom has a double bed, fifth bedroom includes two twin beds and an additional baby crib.

Top of stairs has a bonus loft space with large TV and queen sleeper sofa.

Get ready to relax in this fabulous five-bedroom house in Easton. This amazing property boasts one king bed, two queen beds, two cribs, one full bed, and one twin bed, perfect for families or groups. With four bathrooms featuring a shower, bidet, hair dryer, and bathtub, guests will feel right at home. The loft living room even has a cozy sofa bed for extra sleeping space. Lovely home, great setting

We would love to return to Travelers Rest! Spacious home with separate master suites, waterfront views, large efficient kitchen, large private property, fairly isolated and within easy striking distance to Easton and St Michaels. We’ve rented many homes in this area and Travelers Rest is among the best.

Perfect house!

Stayed for a wedding in Easton. Kitchen was perfect for gathering. Lots of room to move around, play games, etc. Plenty of bedding. Host was very responsive.

This home is in an amazing location with a beautiful backyard. However it felt like the property has infrequent cleaning and visits. We noticed dust on the floors, air vents, lamps, and surfaces. The bathrooms had reddish-orange mold in the showers and drains. The outdoor patio needed to be swept, the outdoor furniture needed to be hosed down and spruced up, and the pool required cleaning. As another reviewer mentioned, the furniture arrangement was illogical and not accurate in pictures. It made it difficult to find a comfortable place to relax. While the great location remains a strong selling point, be prepared to clean and reorganize upon arrival.

Great location but not as pictured

Great location for exploring St Michaels and Easton. The furnishings are not as pictured nor rooms set up as pictured on the first floor. The living spaces are not very comfortable. For example the sun room off the kitchen was not as pictured nor was it the same furniture-there was a large table in front of the window and two old wooden chairs (not the blue/white arm chairs). The dining room table was moved to what is the main living area in the picture with a settee in the room (?). The first floor bedroom w/crib had no bureau or any surface to put something on and had another settee (?). We visited in the Spring which is likely before the season opens but the outside patio had not even been spruced up at all with any sort of spring cleaning would have been nice for the patio to have been blown with a leaf blower to remove the debris before we had arrived. Difficult time upon arriving in the home as a battery had gone in a smoke/carbon monoxide detector and it was challenign to locate which one, this can happen to any home-and property manager had a home made pie and bottle of wine dropped off at the house on Friday which was thoughtful.
