Bienvenue au Spruce Lodge, dans la communauté fermée privée de Torreon! Construit en 2006, ce grand plan de chambre de plus de 1900 pieds carrés est parfait pour des vacances en famille. La maison est située sur un terrain de 1/2 acre avec vue sur le terrain de golf de Torreon. 3 ponts offrent beaucoup d'espace et d'intimité pour que votre groupe puisse se détendre, faire un barbecue, lire un roman, regarder les étoiles et profiter de la brise fraîche. La cuisine avec des comptoirs en granit, ouvre sur une grande pièce expansive avec une pierre des champs
cheminée et manteau en bois de genévrier. Des plafonds en tremble et des planchers de bois chaleureux réchauffent la grande pièce, la cuisine et la tanière. La suite principale spacieuse dispose de sa propre terrasse privée, salle de bain avec baignoire à jets et dressing. Les chambres 2 et 3 sont situées au
l'autre extrémité de la maison pour plus d'intimité. Le Spruce Lodge est décoré avec goût avec du sud-ouest et des meubles en bois rond. Des lits, une literie et des draps de qualité sont fournis. La climatisation centrale et le chauffage sont disponibles pour votre confort. La maison est toujours propre! La maison est décorée avec un thème pour chaque saison! Torreon est un bon rythme pour faire du vélo! Nous mettons à votre disposition 3 vélos. Les privilèges de golf et de piscine ne sont pas disponibles au Torreon Golf Club. Le restaurant / bar et centre équestre est ouvert au public. Sept couchages. Wifi gratuit. Le placard de la chambre principale est actuellement indisponible; nous fournissons un support de vêtements décoratifs et un espace de tiroir généreux.

This home is beautiful in every way. The kitchen appliances are top notch along with everything in the kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated as well.

Little Piece of Heaven

I have been renting places at Torreon for my ladies golf/card trip for years. This is the first year that I have ever rented such a CLEAN and lovely property--Both inside and out.

Awesome House!!!

My husband, two daughters and one friend stayed at this house over Memorial Day, for 5 days. Very spacious. Fully stocked with the essentials. We utilized the three different porches...which was very relaxing. The weather was great. Walking trails were close. We loved it!

Comfortable Cabin

This is the second time we rental this property and still love it. So comfortable, peaceful and location is perfect at the end of the street with neighbors only on the one side. Sit on the patio looking out at beautiful pine trees during mealtime. All new appliances in the kitchen and laundry room. If you have any problems or questions owner will reply at once.

Outstanding mountain retreat

This home exceeded out expectations. The photos on VRBO were very accurate. The place felt more like a private home instead of a vacation rental. The home was really furnished nicely. Extremely comfortable and homey. 3 great decks for relaxing. Location in the pines and at the end of a cul-de-sac provided excellent privacy. Given COVID, we chose to cook most of our meals in the house. I must say the kitchen in this home was outstanding. It was furnished better than most private homes. Having access to the garage was also a really nice feature. The owner/agent was very responsive to my questions and special requests. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again.

Clean escape from Valley heat

This is a beautifully maintained house in a scenic and peaceful neighborhood. It was perfectly clean; I didn't feel the need to wipe down or clean anything when we got there. For those families like mine: the WiFi worked great for several videoconferences and classes while we were there. The TV's had Dish network, but they were not "smart" TV's, so you'd have to stream your Netflix etc on your laptops, but the Wifi signal could handle it. The beds were comfortable. With all the trees in the yard, the house stayed shady; in fact, we never had to turn on the air conditioning. I've never seen such a well-stocked kitchen. We spent our days walking around the neighborhood or hiking in the state forest. There are three adult-sized bikes in the garage which we borrowed. Although the house is near the main road through Torreon, it was still very quiet. There's not much traffic, and I suppose the trees block some of the noise. You can't see any houses behind your, so it felt very private. My favorite spot was the hammock in the backyard... highly recommend!

We (six adults-parents and two children with sig others-all over the age of 25)recently stayed for the weekend. Great website, pictures are representative. Beautiful house in VERY quiet neighborhood. However many negatives: lights not working when we arrived, whole place smelled like garbage as garbage was in garage and had obviously not been taken out in weeks as it stunk up the whole place! Several areas of the home were not clean! Also I have stayed in several VRBO homes over the years and this was the most poorly stocked pantry I have ever seen-no salt, butter, oil coffee...nothing... which makes it difficult for short term vacationers to use the house/kitchen (main reason we rented house versus hotel). Also there were no cleaning supplies-no paper towels, no laundry soap so it made it difficult to use the washer or even clean up after ourselves! We ended up purchasing a lot of this stuff ourselves. Also we paid an outlandish deposit for damages-deposit is understandable HOWEVER we have never had money removed for non-obvious reasons. We were told that there 'was damage to hand towels beyond repair.' To begin with, all the hand towels were fraying at the edges and smelled moldy. We did use one dark orange one to clean up a spill of soda and then rinsed it but in no way was it ruined/stained/discolored. Also if we had had proper cleaning supplies/paper towels then we would not have had to use it. They also quoted that there was a 'damaged toilet handle.' Which with 6 responsible adults and only 2 toilets-we would have noticed this and did not! I believe these to be untrue and that owner is trying to get money out of my elderly parents for repairs that are impossible to dispute, especially since we live out of state. I'd be careful to rent!

Our home is being unjustly misrepresented because we charged the guest for damage that they caused. The guest is disgruntled because $55.94 was withheld from his security deposit for damages to a broken toilet handle/mechanism and permanently damaged stained bath towels. The guest left me a note that read, "Everything went well. I broke the toilet handle/mechanism in the master bedroom. It is beautiful house and area." The home was not rented to elderly grandparents as stated, but a guest from Montana. Its obvious from reading the tone of this review that the guest was trying his best to degrade our property and make it appear to be a hovel! Quite the contrary, we keep the home sparkling clean, just read the reviews from past guests. We require our guests to contact us immediately if there are any problems so we can resolve them. There was one small bag of garbage left in the container stored in the garage. Trash is collected weekly. There was no trash left in the home! We personally inspected the home prior to arrival and after the departure. The son called me at 2:30 PM and reported that lights were not working in one area of the home. I advised him to check the circuit breaker due to a summer storms. Problem resolved. I allowed an early check-in at no charge. As a courtesy we provide Windex, Lysol spray, toilet bowl cleaner, bath shower gel, bar soap, paper towels, dishwasher soap, hand soap, toilet tissue, Kleenex, cooking oil, Pam spray, olive oil, full spice rack, salt, pepper, kitchen canisters are left with coffee, tea, sugar, flour. We do not provide laundry detergent because we have a cleaning service that cleans all linens and towels. We deliver the home with no items left in the refrigerator. We provide quality color coordinated towels and linens and not "frayed towels". Here's what you can expect from us when you rent the Spruce Lodge: A home that is well maintained and in very clean condition. Fast response to any questions you may have and any problems you may have. Our sincere desire that you have a great vacation experience at the Spruce Lodge! Thank you, Chuck and Carlotta Weir, Owners

Little slice of Heaven

Very well appointed cabin. The kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed to do A LOT of cooking!! The neighborhood is lovely and neighbors were friendly. The properly is adorable and inviting with lots of plants and hummingbirds, birds, squirrels, and lizards to watch. My husband took full advantage of the hammock for naps and reading. The neighborhood road that is near by does have lite traffic noise but is not a deal breaker. Beautiful decor inside the home, we were very comfortable and would stay again.

The home was as described in the website. It had every amenity that was desired. The overall experience was so comfortable and warm. We really enjoyed it. We wished there was more information on the the cable TV usage. Also directions to find the house location were not easy due to cellular confusion with our phones. Cozy comfy cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. It was super clean. We really enjoyed all 3 decks and especially the backyard! We really enjoyed the hammock in the mornings and evenings. We will definitely come back!

Thanksgiving in Show Low!

The location and amenities at this property were perfect for our trip! The property was immaculate and well-maintained. We enjoyed many cozy conversations by the fire in the great room. Our bedrooms were clean and cozy and provided everything we needed for a great sleep. I highly recommend this property for rest, relaxation and repose. We went into town several times for shopping and enjoyed a great meal at the clubhouse and Charley Clarks. We will be back for sure. Thank you!!
