Noc's Landing est situé sur 5 acres du côté ouest de la péninsule de Stonington, dans la péninsule supérieure du Michigan. La cabine est située à l'extrémité nord des 5 acres, environ 200 pieds d'un autre, chalet tranquille. Cette maison datée, rustique et pittoresque a une plage privée (bien qu’il y ait beaucoup de mauvaises herbes et de rochers), une simple salle de bain, de grandes fenêtres du salon qui laissent entrer la lumière naturelle et une terrasse au bord du lac avec une vue magnifique sur le lac Michigan. Unique à cette propriété est son puits artésien et à travers la vue sur la baie de Escanaba (feux d'artifice phénoménal voir). Pêche de classe mondiale pour le doré, l'achigan à petite bouche et le grand brochet. Ce cottage de 2 chambres a une laveuse et une sécheuse, un lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes, une télévision (DVD et lecteur fournis, PAS DE WiFi, PAS de câble), un foyer (sur la plage privée avec des rochers (sans anneau), un grill et table de cuisine pour votre plaisir.

Bugs: OUI, il y a des insectes dans le Michigan, en particulier autour de l'eau. Les moustiques sont les plus répandus. Ils sont particulièrement difficiles au crépuscule.

Animaux: Les animaux sont les bienvenus! Freshwater Vacation Rentals facture actuellement 50 $ / animal pour tout votre séjour. Oui, nous acceptons les chiens, mais nous vous demandons de bien vouloir les nettoyer à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la cabine. De plus, si vous les autorisez sur les meubles, nous vous demandons de bien vouloir apporter votre propre linge de maison / couvertures sur lequel vous pourrez dormir. De plus, si les poils de l'animal commencent à se former, nous vous demandons d'exécuter l'aspirateur En général, les chiens adorent l’eau et les lieux à explorer. La nourriture pour animaux de compagnie a tendance à attirer les souris, il faut donc faire preuve de vigilance. Les chats et autres animaux ne sont pas les bienvenus à la maison, à cause des allergies du propriétaire.

En contemplant, vous êtes sûr de trouver des aigles en flèche, de magnifiques cerfs et des couchers de soleil magnifiques. Si vous voulez des vacances plus aventureux, paddle-board vacances sont à Escanaba, dans lequel vous pouvez pagayer à travers Little Bay de Noc. Dormir 4 à l'aise dans 2 chambres à coucher complet.

Incredible stay! The home itself is what I like to call vintage with well water. Gave us no issues at all! We brought food and some kitchen stuff to cook all week. I was mindful of the electrical things but again never had issues. If you plan to cook, bring some kitchen essentials because you might not find a whole lot in the home. There is a full fridge to fit all your food. Even with mice notices we did not have any animal issues everything was clean but there is lots of deer. The night can be scary so be mindful of night potty outs with doggys. The area is quiet and peaceful! Neighbors on the side but far enough. Lakefront access is the star of the show! Very rocky dont expect a sandy beach. Crocks are a must there are very big rocks, my water shoes where not enough. Did not stop us from swimming and having a blast. Dont underestimate the weather, a sweater and pants are a must for the breeze and mosquitos. Thank you for the hospitality, we loved the stay and will be back

Spacious area with a private beach. The deck was great for watching sunsets and I loved the outside patio in the back. We were packing up the car and the boys(the dogs) turned around to go back to the cottage. They wanted to stay and so did I😀

The appliances were quite outdated but we really didn't care. Everything worked fine. It was kind of strange because the second bedroom wasn't available to us. It must have been under construction but we didn't need it. The best part is the location and the view. Just as described and even better. I'm concerned because it doesn't seem to be available to rent in the future. We would love to come back and are hoping it will be available again.

We love this camp! This is our third year staying for a week, and we didn’t want to leave. The cabin is not fancy (orange shag carpet), but the location is wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and a lovely breeze, rocks/beach glass/fossils to pick, trees to hang a hammock, AND they allow dogs! What more do you need? Can’t wait for next year! 👍🌅❤️

My wife and I have never been to this area. We found the house to be excellent and clean. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck with water views, check in process was easy and the mgmt company responded to several questions very very quickly. Grocery shopping at Meijers in Escanaba was a large convenient plus. Ice cream cones for lunch at Garth Gas/Grocery was a treat. Highly recommended

Lovely Location, Great Layout.It would be a "5 Star" with a Little Maintenance

Really liked the location and view. You are nestled in among some cedars with lots of wildlife around you and centrally located for exploring the Hiawatha National Forest. Kitchen has most everything you need. But the screen door to the deck is a mess, the window in one bedroom isn't there (just the storm), and somethings just need repair/replacing. This gem needs polishing.

Long weekend near family

Location of the property was beautiful on the lakeshore. Inside of the cottage was clean. Comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed the location, was able to sit on the deck when there was a breeze to keep the bugs away, and enjoy the view. However, I had brought my dog, of course expected to pick up after him—-rather difficult when the grass was very overgrown. The overgrown grass also contributed to the large number of mosquitoes on and around the patio entrance, which was the entrance we had to use. Management tried, but was unable to get someone to cut the grass on the holiday weekend. They were very responsive to that and other minor issues.

Yes! I'm so glad to hear that the cottage was clean and comfortable to your level of expectation. I agree that the view and the location is ideal sitting along Little Bay de Noc (Lake Michigan). We happily accept pets at this property too. Joan spoke with you multiple times throughout your stay. What really stinks is that the person the owner contracted to manage the lawn had to go out of town unexpectedly. We were reassured it would be done multiple times, and it was not. Great for the price

Not too shabby. A nice place for a reasonable price. The beach was much shorter than we originally thought, but the boys and the dogs had a blast anyway. The cabin was nice and clean, but does have a little bit of that damp smells to it like some other reviewers stated. I'm only taking one star away because there were many dog poops from previous vacationers. I ended up cleaning up after my dogs and then some... Also, there should be an instruction on how to operate the entertainment system. Overly complicated tv set-up with like 5 remotes and a sound system receiver.

Hi Joop, First, let me apologize for the fact that there was dog feces on the beach left by previous guests. As a dog owner myself, it drives me a bit crazy when people do not pick up after their dogs. It's situations like that which make owners decide not to allow pets. Thanks also for the heads up about the entertainment center. We'll look into making it a bit more user-friendly. Also, we'll see what can be done about the damp smell. In some cottages it almost impossible to get rid of - hopefully that's not true here. We are really happy that your kids, pups and yourself enjoyed your stay. It was exactly what we were seeking to get away from the city. The wildlife was so abundant I couldn’t believe it. Every night we could see a few does and fawns in the yard. The sound of the bay was beautiful and the breeze from it was spectacular. Cooking dinner two nights of the stay was something we had never experienced on vacation but it was so nice. We were able to visit local meat markets in nearby towns and it was a great experience. Plenty of boat ramps close to the house, and a light house at the end of the road was a cool adventure. Walmart and meijer plus a variety of city amenities were within 35 minutes of the house so that was convenient for us. The neighbors to the house were very nice and welcoming in passing but overall the stay was secluded and quiet which was great. I would stay here again and again when going to the UP.
