Perfect house!

We were in Tucson for my sisters graduation & the whole family got to stay in this perfect clean house. The house was very clean & had enough bathrooms & rooms for 10 people to stay comfortably. The foosball table and pool table were great for enjoying family time together.

Business trip

Four of us stayed here for the trip and it worked out pretty well. The fourth bedroom is through a different bedroom, so not ideal if you’re not friends. The furniture is quirky. Despite being on a busy road, it was very quiet. We loved having the pool table to blow off steam at night. Lots of laughs were shared!

Great Stay & Location

Rosa is fantastic and we LOVE this VRBO with some exceptions, and location. The location is on the main 4 lane road which sounds bad but it’s a great location and very easy to get in and out of. There’s a ton of parking and we felt safe all the time. It was decorated very nicely for the holidays. We had 9 in our group. Some of the things that weren’t great: 1) we had to repair a bed frame by going to Lowe’s and getting tools and hardware. We later used the tools to repair a broken chair that we also discovered. 2) the kitchen is gorgeous with tons of space but is extremely under stocked with cooking tools. It was very difficult for us to cook for our group for the week. 3) there’s no kitchen table and no place to have a meal together. Instead, there is a foosball table taking up a lot of space. It could have fit in the pool table room easily and provided space for eating or gaming together. Which is what we wanted. 4) the bedroom with the twin beds is deceptively in a bad spot. You have to walk through the bedroom of a room to get to it and it provided zero privacy for half the guests. 5) there was no storage space in the bedrooms so we lived out of our suitcases from the floor. Not fun for a week or at that price! 6) there was no hangers in the closets. Really? So no hanging anything up. 7) there are no towels bars so 9 of us had wet towels for a week. 8) the kitchen had no wash cloths.9) there was no check in communication or instructions.

Beautiful home and great hosts

Rosa was an amazing host who made a great accommodation for us when our previously booked VRBO canceled on us, and we had to find a new place only a couple weeks out. The home is located on a busy road, but it is far enough away from the street that it doesn’t feel super unsafe. The night we arrived I went through the kitchen to see what we had available for dishes, and saw there weren’t baking dishes or pans, which threw off our breakfast plans. I reached out to Rosa and she brought two cookie sheets which did help for toasting some bread. The kitchen was well equipped with place settings for 8, and we were able to feed 10 people breakfast with using a mix of large and small plates and forks. The one thing that wasn’t clear in this listing was that fact that it really wasn’t the whole house we had to ourselves. There was another sectioned off apartment that was a part of the house that someone else was in. It wasn’t necessarily a problem, just unexpected since the listing advertised entire house. We honestly didn’t notice aside from a couple doors being locked on one side of the house, which can be normal for VRBOs. However, we left our kids briefly to get some groceries and arrived back at the house to see another car parked on the property. That felt a little disconcerting, but again, we didn’t have any issues with whoever was staying over there. Overall, the home was beautiful, fit our family of 10 impeccably, and had some fun things for the kids to do.

Great for a family get together

The house was decorated nicely and very clean. The appliances were near new. Communication with the host was excellent. Our family enjoyed the outdoor areas as well. Tucson weather was beautiful. The location is conveniently located near stores. A couple of baking sheets or oven pans would be helpful. It would have be nice to have had a blow dryer and washcloths. Other than that; we enjoyed having a family Thanksgiving in this lovely home and would rent it again. (We flew across country to be near relatives for the holiday).
