Fun Cabin in the Woods

Welcome to our cozy cabin in the woods by Canton Lake! We are a half mile from Sandy Cove where you can swim and fish. There is a small bar and restaurant within walking distance. We have ample parking with enough room for your boat or jet skis. This is a quaint home with a large outdoor area for playing and visiting. Brand new mini-splits allow you to set different rooms at different temperatures. We have a large fire pit with weather resistant chairs for adults and children. Pets are allowed, but there is a $25 fee. Challenge the family to a game of horseshoes while you enjoy the secluded and shaded yard. You can use our new propane grill to cook dinner or roast it over the fire (no wood provided). There is an indoor game room with a pool table, dart board and a small cornhole set that can be played indoors or out. Sit at the bistro table or pull out the card table and chairs for a competitive board game or quiet puzzle. In the main living area, there is a smart TV where you can log on to your own streaming account and relax watching your favorite show. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to prepare a delicious meal. We have a Keurig coffee station for hot or cold drip or pod coffee. You can dine outside on the patio table or inside at a fold-out table that will seat four. There is enough room for 7-8 people to sleep comfortably. The one bedroom has a queen bed and in the living room there is a small futon that would sleep two children or one adult. Upstairs in the sleeping loft, there are 3 twin XL beds and one queen futon and another TV. Our cabin can be like camping indoors as there is not much privacy and the bathroom is small. The sleeping loft is accessed through the bedroom up a very steep and narrow staircase, so not for everyone. In the petite bathroom, there is a shower with plenty of towels. We have our own water well with softened water. Our lake cabin is very versatile and can accommodate a family or group for vacation or a fishing/hunting expedition. Fires may not be permitted if the county has a Burn Ban in place. We will notify you as soon as we can if that is the case.

If you clean any fish or game on the property, it must be done so that no parts or smell of the process is left on site (including the dumpster), or additional cleaning charges may be added.

If any trash is not disposed of or dishes not done, or messes are left on the property, additional cleaning charges will apply.
