Partez pour une promenade ou de la crÚme glacée pour les nombreux endroits dans le centre-ville de Newport. Bien qu'il soit situé dans le centre de la ville, il est rue trÚs calme.

The location, size of the property, parking spots, bar area and top floor kitchen / view were fantastic. It was perfect for the wedding weekend we had with family visiting and enjoying Sunday football with a group. Plenty of room for 12 of us to stay together, and more. There was an issue with the fridge but the owner was very responsive and helped us right away. Two washing machines/dryers and plenty of refrigerator space. It’s nicer in person than the pictures look, though I would recommend the owners update the bedding linens and pillows, and organize through the kitchen as there are a lot of clutter that has likely piled up from renters. We were able to clear one cabinet for our snacks but it would have been nice to have some empty cabinetry. The apartment area is great for families but since it doesn’t have the central AC the unit has a musty smell. None of this disturbed us enough to impact the stay and we would definitely consider staying here again!!

The Location is the Best you can ask for!! We were in Newport for my daughter’s wedding and rented this beautiful house so my entire family could all be together. We were able to walk to everything! House was spotless. Communicating with Gabriel was great. We spent most of our time sitting on the third floor balcony which has such a nice water view and a great breeze. Kitchen table is great for a big family. Air conditioning worked great as it was a very hot weekend. The huge bar on the first floor entrance was such a big hit with our friends who stopped by after the welcome party. It was literally like we had rented our own private bar for the night. Three refrigerators in the house (one on each level). The apartment which is above the bar, was like having another separate unit from the house with extra privacy, but at the same time, still part of the house. Having a bathroom in every bedroom was a big bonus!! Plenty of sitting room in the family room on third floor with kitchen. We were all very comfortable being together on the third floor living space. Parking for four cars (and we had two oversized trucks) which fit fine into the garage along with two other cars. We had such a great time staying here!! Very positive experience! This rental is a 10 out of 10!!

Fabulous location in downtown Newport! The house is large and clean, with views to the harbor and the water. We stayed for 5 nights during the folk festival and it couldn't have been better.

This place had a beautiful view, was walking distance to downtown and had plenty of room for our family and friends. It even had an amazing bar downstairs where you could entertain.We will reserve next time we are in town.

We had a pleasant stay overall—the location is outstanding, offering easy access to local attractions, and the space itself is spacious and inviting. However, we did encounter some issues with the amenities. Several kitchen appliances were either non-functional or felt outdated, making us hesitant to fully utilize the space. Additionally, during a stretch of extreme heat, the air conditioning struggled to keep the home comfortable. While the layout and location are definite highlights, updates to the appliances and climate control would significantly improve the overall experience.

You’ll wish you lived there


Beautiful and spacious house with a relaxing view of the harbor from the top floor. The house is well appointed and more spacious than appeared in the photos. It is also in an amazing location that permits walking to the main drag with restaurants, bars and shops easily accessible.

Perfect getaway!

Rented this property for a bachelorette, it was beyond perfect! It was better than the pictures, could not have asked for a more ideal location. There was enough space for all, very relaxing and high end. Gabriel was very communicative and made us feel like this was our home for the weekend. Highly Recommend, gorgeous sunsets! Would love to rent again.

We had an amazing time and the house is wonderful! Location is perfect, there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen and living area is on the top floor so the view is fantastic and a great place to gather!

Forever memories made in an absolutely amazing home!

We can not say enough great things about this house!!!!! The location is amazing and the view was breathtaking! The house was super clean (I think the couch was even vaccumed 👍) and the space was perfect for everyone. The bar was such a fun touch to hang out and take pictures and gather before our wedding events! ❀ Having the 4 covered parking spots were amazing! And the communication with Gabriel was sooooo easy and he responded back so quickly! 👍You can really see the love and dedication Gabriel and Vivian put into the home! We have already recommended this amazing property to friends/family who plan to travel to Newport and we will definitely be back! ❀

We were so impressed with this home. The bedrooms are clean and the upstairs has a beautiful view of the harbor. You are smack dab in the thick of downtown Newport on Thames Street. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing House and Location!

Gabriel was very helpful from the check-in and arrival process and any needs during our stay (although we didn't need anything). Such a great location in the heart of Newport, can walk everywhere, highly recommend. The house itself is well kept, very spacious, and the living room is a great layout for entertaining large groups. Would stay here again!

Great house in great location

We really enjoyed staying in this house in Newport. It had enough room for the whole family, was in a great location, and had a very nice living room/kitchen with a view of the water. The owner was responsive and helpful with any questions. We would recommend it to anyone else considering.

Great house, great location

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had the best time! The house was clean and had SO much room for all of us. The upstairs kitchen area was brand new and you could even see the water. All the bedrooms were comfortable and had en suite bathrooms which was a huge plus. The house was located right in town which made walking to bars and restaurants really east. Gabriel was extremely responsive and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property!

Owned by a Newport couple (Gabriel & Viviana). Viviana is an Architect and has designed and managed the 2 major renovations of the house, in 2004 and 2013/14. She likes to design spaces, combining 'old' and 'new' with perfect blends. High ceilings are a must and the house has them all around.

It is in the BEST location in Newport, with the convenience of having 4 parking spaces in downtown Newport (very rare), it has a fantastic view to the harbor and America's Cup Blvd. This is an antique bar from the 1790's converted into a summer vacation place. First renovation included the 'old bar' which has been preserved and 2nd was a large addition of 4 parking spaces, 5 bedrooms and bathrooms and an entertainment kitchen/living room with Ocean View

The property has great character, it has fabulous water views 2nd and 3rd floors. It has 4 parking spaces, which is unique in downtown Newport. It is loacated 20 yards walk to downtown shops and restaurants. The house is equipped with wireless Internet, TV, Sonos wireless speakers and flat screen TV's - all seamlessly blended into this lovingly restored 18th century 'bar' on the bay.
