Welcome to your dream mountain escape! This cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat is the perfect getaway for families, friends, or couples looking to unwind. Step out onto the deck to enjoy breathtaking views of two serene lakes, all surrounded by over 2 acres of peaceful land where you can unwind and appreciate nature.



The Space:

Nestled in the heart of Florissant, Crazy Horn Chalet offers serene mountain views and unmatched privacy. Relax in the spacious living area with comfortable seating, stream your favorite shows using high-speed WiFi, or cook up a storm in the fully stocked kitchen. Whether sipping coffee on the deck or stargazing at night, you’ll feel immersed in nature at every turn.



The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests with four permanent beds (1 king, 2 queens, and 1 twin). For groups of 8, additional sleeping options are available, including a fold-out couch in the main living area, an inflatable mattress, and a pack ’n play.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full access to the entire chalet, including the private outdoor space. The driveway can accommodate multiple vehicles, and the home features self-check-in for a seamless arrival experience.



The Neighborhood:

Florissant offers the best of outdoor adventure and peaceful living. Explore nearby Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, which boasts hiking trails and fascinating prehistoric fossils. Eleven Mile State Park is ideal for fishing, kayaking, and picnicking, while Mueller State Park offers beautiful trails for hiking and wildlife viewing. If you're looking for more excitement, take a trip to Cripple Creek, a historic mining town known for its casinos and scenic railway. Wolf and Wildlife Center is only minutes away!



Getting Around:

Having your own vehicle is recommended to make the most of your stay. The chalet is easily accessible by car, with parking available on-site. The charming town of Woodland Park is just 20 minutes away, and Colorado Springs is within an hour’s drive for more shopping, dining, and entertainment options. AWD or 4WD vehicle is highly recommended as the cabin is nicely tucked away in a mountain-rural area.



Other Things to Note:

This is a cabin and you may see wildlife from time to time. Please do not disturb them and follow all recommendations for safety. Never approach a wild animal.

No unauthorized parties or events are permitted.

This is a non-smoking property.

This is a rural area and in the winter the weather can be unpredictable. We have a snow plow/shoveling service, but big storms happen, and it's best to always be prepared.
