The private entrance to this quiet vacation home features a queen bed, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower , a patio overlooking nature and wooded valley with outdoor space for a small campfire. If you are looking to get away, this restful retreat will be just the place to enjoy while you are traveling in Paris. If you want to really get away from it all, you will enjoy our 'unplugged' retreat (NO Wi-Fi) & LIMITED CELL PHONE service .

The property was clean, quiet, serene, picturesque. My only complaint was that I could not get cell service for my phone often. Otherwise, it was totally wonderful!

Being tucked away in nature does mean cell service can be spotty at times, but many guests find it’s part of what makes their stay feel so relaxing and rejuvenating. I've stayed in numerous rentals all across the country, and I can honestly say these host are some of the best I've encountered. Communication and the want to help with anything I may have needed were excellent. Being from the south, I was initially worried about staying in a location during July / August with no air conditioning, especially working night shift and sleeping during the day. I honestly did not wake up one time feeling uncomfortable. The ceiling fans and bed side fan keep the room at a comfortable temperature throughout the day. The place is beautiful and I would absolutely stay here again when in the area!

It was a nice little place and the host was great. But it was not a very quiet place. You can hear every time the place above you flush the toilet any time day or night. Or when they walk across the floor. Or they have a get together like they did when we were there and the kids were going in and out and slamming the door every 10 minutes or so. I had to go out after dark and ask them to please stop slamming the doors. I’m a very light sleeper so I didn’t get much sleep while I was there. Will definitely not go back.

Thank you for your feedback. We do our best to make the space comfortable for all guests even four-legged — when pets are INCLUDED in the reservation. And we definitely noticed the barking! As noted, it’s a shared property, so occasional footsteps or plumbing noise can happen. The “gathering” you mentioned was actually a quick family HAYRIDE that ended before 9:00 PM — well before quiet hours & it was daylight saving time change so actually 8:00PM YES , it does get dark early & when you came to complain it was actually ONLY 7:30 PM. We were a bit surprised to find that some of the complimentary touches meant to be enjoyed during your stay — like the activity books, coloring pencils, and a “Grow Where You’re Planted” mug — apparently grew legs of their own. We’ll take that as a sign they were well liked & good souvenirs for you. Wishing you quieter nights and souvenirs from a STORE on your next adventure.
