Comfortable, clean and cozy home within easy walking distance to downtown. Super comfy beds, spacious dining and living areas. Definitely plan to stay there again when we visit next!

House was clean and cool which was welcomed with the summer humidity. A/C worked great and comfy beds and pillows. Would definitely rent again.

This is a really lovely place to stay. We gathered around the dining room table. The open floor plan made it easy to all be together. The double oven was fantastic for our Easter dinner preparation. The chaise lounge and the fireplace on the porch was a nice little hideaway.

Thank you for letting me know your needs for the handrail. The staircase entrance at the back door is only 5 steps up with walls on both sides. For safety I did installed a 18” handrail on the left side of the wall. I wanted to Thank you for choosing Algona Haus, I hope I can be at your service in the near future.

Algona Gem

I've traveled to Algona before and stayed in the hotels, which were nice, but this stay was my favorite so far. The home is close to everything in town. It has a very charming feel and very comfortable to hang out with family. The host is very proactive and helpful with anything you need. The house is well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again if I ever came to Algona. And probably one of the best reasons to stay here is the garage if you were here during the very hot or very cold months, your car will stay in a very nice clean environment and you'll never be scraping ice or snow off the windshield.. The neighborhood is very quiet. I can't say enough good things about this VRBO.

The home was very clean & cozy. A variety of hygeine products to use in bathroom, dishes, comfy beds and living room seating. The only thing I wish it had was a tv in the bedrooms as I like to watch tv while going to sleep. That wouldnt keep me from staying here again if I'm ever in the area again. The host was very quick to answer any questions and also offered suggestions on a good place to eat and have cocktails. there was a complimentary bottle of wine at the house for us to enjoy too! Another oerk was being able to park my car in the garage. It stormed when we stayed and I was glad my car was safe in garage. Also, it would've been handy to have a binder of info about the house, wifi passcode, door codes, entertainmen, stuff to do, places to eat in the area, any other relevant info to the house or town to have in a binder to look at and reference is nice. Many other places Ive stayed have these things and s journal for guests to sign and remark on experience and say where they traveled from. its neat to see where all people are coming from to stay. Everything was very nicely decorated and tasteful, really neat lamps and I appreciated some of the vintage furniture as well, with a modern twist!! A lot of care has gone into this home and it shows! i would most certainly recommend to others! Thanks Moon for being an exceptional host!
