We thoroughly enjoyed the property and it was a short distance to Sequoia Park Entrance, I like the laundry room and the kitchen to make breakfast for me and my family. I know we were on vacation and we did take some time to watch a little TV, it was hard to see the screen during daylight. Overall we loved our stay.

Great stay at Three Rivers Cottage

We had a great stay in Three Rivers. It's a charming little town with good food and beautiful scenery. The cottage is right on a river behind the large main house. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and the 2 bedroom set up worked great for our family. The cottage was clean with an open kitchen and a good mudroom with laundry/dryer. It was hot outside but the cottage stayed nice and cool. Not really good access to the river on the property but it had nice views of the water.To get to Sequoia National Park it's a bit of a drive. The park entrance is 20 minutes away but all the attractions are about 1.5-3 hrs. from the house. It worked great for us because we liked being near a little town and cooking our own food but be aware you are going to be doing a lot of driving to get to the National Parks.

Let me start by saying that the house is very nice and we enjoyed our stay! My only real complaint is regarding the fabulous kitchen that was so poorly outfitted. We stayed for 6 nights in Three Rivers (not a location for dining). We had hoped to cook and there wasn’t even a single fry/saute pan The cooking supplies were an odd collection of items. We borrowed most of what we cooked from the people we were visiting. It was the oddest collection of kitchen ware and plenty of it, unfortunately not really geared to cooking the basics. Again, this is a very nice place in a great location. I’m writing this for the owners more than the guests. The problem is easy to cure.

I love the beautiful town of Three Rivers, California. It is the "Gateway to the Sequoias" hosting millions of visitors year-round. Tourists from out of state and even from other countries flock to Three Rivers to see the largest trees in the world. The town offers a stunning lake, river, as well as hiking, water-based activities, and nature exploration. Located in the foothills of Sierra Nevada, Three Rivers is “a mountain getaway” along the Kaweah River that’s accessible to both San Francisco and Los Angeles travelers. The journey entails a 3h 30m drive, about 200 mi from Los Angeles and 4h, about 250mi from San Francisco. There are daily nonstop flights from San Francisco to the nearest Yosemite International Airport in Fresno. Three Rivers is only 70 mi, about 90m away from Fresno. Three Rivers boasts a pleasant climate throughout the year.
