Great home and location

Perfect location for our family vacation. Home had everything we needed and was walking distance to many great restaurants, shops, a convenience store and the grocery store.

Comfort and Convenient

This is a great home to vacation. My husband and I were here for our daughter’s baby shower in San Diego. We had more space than we needed but we like it that way. The home has great decor, a great coffee maker, comfortable beds and great air conditioning. That’s what’s important to us. Conveniently located to restaurants, the beach, and the grocery store. We will definitely be back.

Family time is the best time

Amazing ! Beautiful town beautiful house beautiful people, beautiful beaches couldn’t have been a better trip food all around fantastic. Walked everywhere to eat got in our steps just felt like a breath of fresh air every morning waking up energized by the vibe of this wonderful home!

Great Property

The house is in a great location and it’s a great property. The communication with host/management difficult. Rented from VRBO, managed by Vacasa, property info on a QR which doesn’t work. House not properly stocked for a long term visit. We were there 4 weeks and had to supplement supplies quit a bit.

Amazing property

My family and I were so comfortable in this house. It was very spacious for our party of 6 and could have easily accommodated two more. The location is also perfect, as there are lots of food options and a CVS within blocks. The tide pools and beach are also walking distance (~15 mins), which made our stay even more convenient. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the San Diego/La Jolla area.

Great house, great location

The house worked nicely for our group. We had great grandma down to a 2 yr old staying for the weekend. House is nice and open and the back patio is perfect for gathering. Most anything you need is within walking distance. There’s a nice beach just down the street. Would stay again.

Spacious home away your home

Location of this house is very central and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. We were in the area for a wedding. Great place for 2 or 3 families to get together.

Great area and places to walk to

We stayed at Draper Paradise during Spring Break while looking at colleges with our teens. The location of the house is great! Restaurants within walking distance, as well as grocery store and CVS. The house was very comfortable for our needs. All the beds were comfortable and the living room area was a great gathering place. We did have an issue with the toilet downstairs and Vacasa was responsive in getting it repaired. 2 quick notes: There is not a full bathroom downstairs (only a half bath). This was ok, we used the showers upstairs, but a little bit inconvenient for the people in the downstairs bedroom. The other note was that the kitchen was not well stocked with mixing bowls / pots & pans. We weren't cooking, so it was fine for us, but if you do plan to cook, it would be beneficial to bring your own mixing bowls or pots/pans. There were plenty of plates and silverware, and that was all we needed, so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall, I would stay there again if I am in the area - the house was really cute and centrally located.

Family weekend get together

The home was wonderful and in a really fun location. We could walk to the beaches, seals and fun restaurants. El Pescador on the corner was our favorite. We went several times! Being from Minnesota it was fun to sit in the back yard and soak up the sun. The second story master bedroom has beautiful views! You can see the stars.

What a great house in the San Diego Area.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. It's very clean and beautiful. We felt safe and location is perfect within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and little shops. Easy access to San Diego.

Should be Wonderful - Overpriced

Location and layout, especially the back patio and deck, are wonderful. For the price, however, there were too many issues. The A/C on the top floor is so noisy we could not use it at night. Had to hassle with Vacasa to get more than 4 mugs and 2 dishtowels. Had to purchase kitchen basics we usually find in rental properties (salt and pepper shakers, olive oil, basic sling film / foil). The coffee filters were too small for the coffee maker. There was no digital or print property guide specific to this house, so questions / issues required extra work on our part. Recycle bins were both completely full when we arrived. The level of attention was too low to justify the fees attached to the rental.

Paradise in La Jolla

This was a great home for our weekend getaway meeting 2 other couples. The house was in a perfect location to be able to walk to restaurants, shops and the beach and cove but was also quiet and private. Inside and outside the house well appointed and met all of our needs with comfortable beds, TVs, kitchen and outside patio and grilling area.

Perfect house and location!

The house and yard are amazing! Half mile from the beach and walking to downtown, shopping and restaurants. It is really a perfect house and gathering place! Park the car and enjoy!

Wonderful house in great location

We were in La Jolla for a family wedding. The house was perfect for my husband and I and our adult children. It’s beautifully decorated and very roomy. We enjoyed walking to the cove and eating at nearby restaurants. Wonderful trip!

Renter Beware

Nice house in a good location for restaurants, but someone has access to this house. We unpacked, locked the door and left our belongings and headed out. When we returned we had personal belongings missing. We have contacted several agents with Vacasa who are not interested in our story. When I asked about their cleaning company, and that I wanted to speak to a supervisor, I was disconnected. Unfortunate. Never had an issue with renting before. Won’t be back.

Comfortable pretty house
