Internet was great! Host was very welcoming and accommodating and communicated like a pro! The one bedroom apartment was very clean and there was incredibly efficient use of the cozy space—it felt truly “homey!” Everything was comfy and the kitchen and apartment well-equipped. Building reception was very friendly and welcoming as well. I would definitely stay here again when in Santiago! Great location for a great price and felt more like an authentic locals experience than a touristy one for sure.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement
When I chose the location for this apartment, I had a clear vision: I wanted a space that reflects the soul of Santiago, where every day feels like a true city experience. As a lifelong resident, I know the city intimately—the hidden cafés, the quiet shortcuts through tree-lined streets. I wanted a place that doesn’t just offer convenience, but lets you truly *feel* the city, not just visit it.
That’s why I picked this neighborhood—the vibrant intersection of Lastarria, Italia, and Bellavista. Here, historic charm meets modern creativity. Within minutes on foot, you can enjoy coffee in a century-old courtyard, browse an independent bookstore, catch an art-house film, and end the night with a drink on a rooftop overlooking the hills. All without needing a car.
Having two metro lines just steps from the building was essential. I wanted guests to move freely—explore the Parque Metropolitano in the morning, visit the historic center at noon, and catch a live show in Bellavista by night, all within minutes.
I also wanted the perfect balance between energy and calm. Even though you're in the urban heart, the building sits on a relatively quiet street, surrounded by trees and natural light. The small terrace is a personal oasis—watch the sunset paint the sky, listen to the soft hum of the city, and for a moment, forget you’re in the center of it all.
I chose this spot because it’s exactly where I’d want to stay if I were visiting Santiago: a place that doesn’t just host you, but connects you to the rhythm, culture, and spirit of the city. I wanted to create an urban retreat that feels like home—with the pulse of the city right outside your door.
Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique
What makes my property unique isn’t just its location, but the intention behind every detail. I wanted to create more than just a place to sleep—a thoughtfully designed urban retreat where design, functionality, and authenticity come together.
From the start, I had travelers like me in mind—those who value the comfort of a home away from home. That’s why I fully equipped the kitchen with essentials: a French press, blender, tea, coffee, oil, and quality utensils. This isn’t just a kitchen for emergencies—it’s a kitchen meant for cooking, sharing a meal, or starting the day with a lovingly prepared breakfast.
Design was also essential. I chose a modern yet warm aesthetic, with functional furniture, cozy lighting, and natural materials that make the 30 m² feel spacious and harmonious. Every item has a purpose—from the comfortable sofa bed for guests to the small bookshelf with local recommendations and board games for a quiet night in.
But what truly sets this place apart is the terrace. It’s small, yes, but offers a view that connects you to the city. Watching the sunset over the hills with a cup of coffee or a good book in hand has become a ritual many guests repeat. It’s an intimate space to unwind, reflect, or simply breathe.
I also included exclusive access to a 24/7 coworking space in the building. I knew many travelers today blend work and leisure, and I didn’t want them to have to choose. With reliable internet, ergonomic chairs, and a quiet atmosphere, they can get work done and then step out to explore the city minutes later.
Finally, what I value most is the human connection. I love receiving messages from guests telling me they felt like locals—how they discovered a hidden café thanks to my tips or had an unforgettable night out in Bellavista. To me, that’s the highest compliment.
This apartment isn’t perfect—but it’s authentic. And in the balance between warmth, practicality, and location, I find its true uniqueness.
