Propriété de bord de lac bien entretenu sur le lac d'Egypte. Regardez les bateaux depuis le pont couvert entouré de l'ombre des arbres matures. Profitez du lac avec un quai couvert de deux embarcations. Pêcher et nager à droite de votre quai. Dans la soirée, rôtir des guimauves dans le foyer avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. À l'intérieur, profitez d'une immense pièce de soleil avec foyer au gaz et cuisine ouverte. La propriété bénéficie d'un énorme 155 pieds de rivage rip / rap. Découvrez la vie lacustre à son meilleur pendant que vous vous détendez et profitez des vues fantastiques depuis votre terrasse ou votre solarium. Trois ports de plaisance desservent le lac, avec des spectacles hebdomadaires pour vous permettre de jeter l'ancre et de profiter. Situé à proximité des sentiers viticoles et de plusieurs parcs d'État, c'est vraiment le rêve d'un vacancier. Venez voir la vue et expérimenter la pêche, la baignade, le canotage et la détente dans cette maison impressionnante.

Il y a deux chambres avec lits queen-size, une chambre avec lits jumeaux / lits superposés ainsi qu'un lit gigogne et un canapé-lit avec un grand lit. Les matelas d'air sont les bienvenus (mais s'il vous plaît ne pas dépasser 10 personnes).

En outre, il y a une allée en fer à cheval, blacktop!

House was beautiful with a direct view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the wildlife and activities on the lake. House was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Hosts were quick to respond to questions i had and very pleasant to talk to. Very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Clean and comfy place to stay with superb and prompt communication with the hosts. Perfect jumping off point for exploring the area! Mornings on the deck with the lake views were awesome. Really enjoyed all of the hiking in the area like Garden of the Gods, Bell Smith Springs, Fern Clyffe, Little Grand Canyon, and Giant City. Also, the guided kayak tour at the Cache River State Natural area was fantastic!

Are stay here at Goreville was beautiful and relaxing. We visited Garden of the Gods along with Giant City plus Feather Hill winery. Jeff agrees to let us rent the pontoon. House was comfortable and much beauty surrounding the area. Definitely a home with relaxing comfort.

The property was clean and had all the needed amenities. Great view of the lake! The dock worked perfectly for our family. Deer come into the yard, we all enjoyed watching them. Overall, relaxing trip in a great location.

Summer vacation

Very comfortable home. The view from the dock was breathtaking. My son loved fishing the dock. Kayaking is a must do…so fun! The hosts, Jeff and Heather, are the best! We recommend this home!

Family getaway

We had a lovely time relaxing, fishing, boating, hiking, golfing and most importantly enjoying family time. We enjoyed being right on the lake and liked that the property had a downstairs area for our young adult children to have their own space. Jeff and Heather were very attentive and friendly.

This property is amazing!! The scenery is like no other. We seen deer through the whole time we where here. These cuties are everywhere so be careful driving. The house has so much to offer. From all the room downstairs that leads out to the deck over looking the lake. We lucked out during our September trip with 90 degrees which lead us to do some floating on the lake and also kayaking. There are 2 on the property. I can't say enough about the wonderful time our getaway was. The hosts are also amazing!! 10/10

Beautiful lake, comfortable home, wonderful hosts!

Jeff and Heather could not be more helpful and communicative! Their home is updated, spacious, and clean. We brought our boat and put it in their extra slip. The kids had a blast tubing, and the weather, despite a bad forecast, turned out to be warm and sunny. Highly recommend!

After living in this beautiful home for 17 years, we decided to move down the lake to be closer to family but could not part with this beautiful lakeside retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and we wanted to give other people the experience of lake life and encourage their inner adventurer to explore all that beautiful Southern Illinois has to offer. Fishing, boating, swimming, camp fires, wineries, hiking and most importantly, relaxation await you.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I am originally from Minnesota and my husband is from Wisconsin. We grew up in the outdoors hiking, camping, fishing and spending time in wild areas.We met while we both were attending Southern Illinois University (SIU) and fell in love with the area. The friendly people, beautiful forests, lakes and unique outdoors opportunities made this an ideal environment to raise a family. Southern Illinois is truly a hidden gem and well worth spending some time exploring.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The views rock! Whether sitting on the lower deck, dock, by the fire pit or in the open living area, the relaxing views are worth it .

My favorite part beside the view is the great fishing! Large mouth bass, catfish, bluegill and especially crappie are found in Lake of Egypt. Crab Orchard, Cedar, and Little Grassy lakes hold the same species. Kincaid lake has muskies, and Devils Kitchen has rainbow trout. This area has a bit of everything for the fisherman in you.

I like to enjoy my morning coffee in the sun room and a local glass or two of wine or beer on the porch in the evenings. We love to take slow evening cruises in the pontoon to see music or get some food at one of the marinas.

Our 14-year-old loves to swim and look for clams and fish during the day and making s'mores on the campfire at night. Kayaking and swimming off the dock are also high on his list.
