Retraite dans la vallée de l'Hudson avec piscine chauffée et jacuzzi

Notre maison récemment rénovée se trouve sur 4 acres de propriété privée, à 2 heures de New York. A quelques kilomètres de Woodstock, les Catskills des Shawangunks, cette maison est parfaite pour tout week-end en amoureux ou en famille.

Nous avons récemment rénové notre belle maison l'été 2016 avec de nouveaux planchers, meubles et commodités en bois franc.
Son plan d'étage ouvert et sa conception permettent à plusieurs invités de profiter de grands dîners et de se divertir. Avec plusieurs chambres et de grands lits, tout le monde a une nuit de sommeil confortable. Notre espace est adapté aux enfants avec une cour clôturée, une cabane dans les arbres et un sous-sol fini avec une table de billard.
Il existe de nombreux endroits pour s'asseoir et se détendre tels que le salon englouti avec une grande télévision, l'Apple TV, les abonnements HBO go / Netflix / FX / Hulu, un salon formel avec un grand canapé, une cheminée confortable et 2 grandes chaises de lecture et des poufs. Notre îlot de cuisine peut accueillir 3 personnes confortablement avec une grande table de cuisine ronde pouvant accueillir 8 personnes à côté. Le salon formel n'a pas encore été utilisé mais peut accueillir 8 personnes, en plus de la table de la salle à manger dans l'écran sous la véranda. Le bain à remous extérieur est ouvert toute l'année, parfait pour les nuits fraîches. De plus, 3. 5 bains facilitent la préparation pour plusieurs familles!
J'ai des caméras extérieures à chaque entrée de ma maison pour des raisons de sécurité. Ils sont fermés lors de l'enregistrement. Ma piscine est actuellement fermée pour l'automne / hiver.

Wonderful

Some of our family stayed in this beautiful house over Thanksgiving weekend. The owner was very helpful and accomodating, and the house was beautifully stocked and furnished. It was exceedingly comfortable. Thanks for the gift basket! We will definitely stay here again.

Great NYE Getaway

Our small group rented the house for a casual NYE celebration. The property was exactly as it was described and were extremely happy with the accommodations. Joe is super responsive and very easy to get in touch with. Could not recommend enough.

Great Family Getaway!

This home is fantastic! We had a great week with friends and family swimming in the pool, playing soccer in the huge yard, and cooking in the wonderful kitchen! Joe was extremely attentive and helpful and the house was very clean and cosy with lots of fun stuff to do. It's a great location with lots of awesome markets, restaurants, and farms a quick drive away. Couldn't have asked for a better week in the country!

This house is super charming and cozy and was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. We did not want to leave! Just perfection. The host was very accommodating and the bathrooms were well stocked with amenities which was important for a group of women. There was a welcome binder in the kitchen that highlighted only very reasonable house rules and things to do in the area. We felt very relaxed as soon as we entered the property and would definitely return again!

Stress Free Stay

Property was well-maintained. Host responded to communication in a timely manner. We appreciated that the indoor and outdoor dining areas were spacious enough to allow for all of us to sit together at meals. The children especially appreciated the media options available. No internet issues occurred during our stay. Number of bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient for our needs. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay with several friends for a weekend.

Wonderful Getaway House

This house was perfect for our ladies’ weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. There was plenty of seating for dinners and for hanging out. The best part was the pool surrounded by the beautiful landscaping. The owner was great about checking in on us throughout the weekend. We would definitely recommend this house.

Well worth the $$

The house was beautiful and spotless, and not cluttered. For longer stays it is important to have space to ‘unpack’ physically and mentally, and this house was perfect for both! Joseph went above and beyond to orient me to the house and ensured we had anything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The highlight was the pool!

A great weekend with friends and family

I had a really nice stay at Joe's house with my family and my friend's family. The pool and diving board were a great feature and the property felt very private. Reasonable drive from NYC. The house was well kept and everything in good working order. Joe was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay again soon.

A Beautiful Retreat

We enjoyed 4 days at this property and it is just as it appears in the pictures. I would highly recommend it for couples or adults who are getting together and families with older children. If you reside in a crowded city this property would certainly replenish you. The pool and deck were perfect and the whole outside living area was amazing. This is truly a well loved property. The interior decor is beautiful! We have a large family so the older children/adults stayed here and the younger children/parents stayed at VBRO property #1524289 and that worked out perfectly for us.

What a wonderful weekend our family enjoyed at Joe's property .His place was beyond expectations! We had 4 children under 10 and 4 adults and everyone enjoyed the pool There was plenty of space for all of us - inside and out side. All we had to bring was our food - everything else was provided. Enjoyed a great weekend with family in Joe's immaculate and well-appointed home. Relaxing pool, deck and jacuzzi with surrounding foliage for privacy. Grill and great kitchen made it easy to prepare fantastic meals. Beautiful grounds, board games and pool table for entertainment. And easy access to charming town and great hiking. Dream getaway you don't want to miss out!

We really enjoyed staying at Joe's home! This is THE GETAWAY house. Not only is the house absolutely beautiful, there are also entertainments like pool, jacuzzi, (yes!), Home entertainment, etc. To keep our weekend relaxed and fun. The owner also also went out of his way to make sure that we have a comfortable stay and have everything that we needed. Thank you Joe, we really loved your house and will return in the future!

Relaxing Weekend!

This house was wonderful! We spent an amazing weekend hanging with family, swimming in the pool/hot tub, and playing games on the porch. There was a welcome basket upon our arrival, which is a really nice perk. :) Joe was a very attentive host and made himself available at any time for questions. You can tell that he takes good care of the house! We will definitely be back soon!

Awesome weekend getaway

My wife and I rented the house for 3 days with a few other couples. The house is beautiful and is perfect for a group vacation - never really had to leave to property. The pool deck is a big private area and gets sun almost the entire day. The screened in back patio is a perfect place to eat and/or hangout. The front yard is very large and was great for a little Wiffleball game or tossing around a football. We got a little bit of rain, but we were able to shoot pool and play darts in the basement. Grocery store was about 8 minutes away and had everything we needed. A very convenient 2 hour drive from Manhattan - I would recommend this house to anybody.

Daniel was a terrific guest. He stayed in contact leading up to his stay as well as during with any questions. He had great respect for my home and took care of everything as if it was his own. I would be happy to host him again the the future as well as recommend him to any host.
