Wonderfully clean interiors and spacious. We appreciated the opportunity to bring our dog and the host was responsive and easy to get a hold of. We would definitely stay here again.

We drove 5 hours and my daughter’s family flew in for my son’s wedding. Upon arrival, we found out that the electrical service had been terminated by the utility. We had to find motel rooms on a holiday weekend - a very stressful predicament. Four adults and 3 children staying in 2 motel rooms was not what we originally signed up for but we were thankful that the local Hampton Inn was able to provide us shelter.VRBO provided a full refund plus paid the extra expenses we incurred.

This property was very convenient for us. There were several renovations that make the house very nice and more modern; however, there were several concerns overall as well as an issue that was not handled well while we stayed. The master bathroom has a beautiful new shower but the overspray ran through the floor and part of the ceiling downstairs fell down. Initially the owner wrote right back saying he'd get someone to clean it up, but then didn't update us on a repair plan for over 24 hrs. Meanwhile we eventually had to clean it up ourselves so that we could use the dining area and could see what looked like mold in the ceiling. We were concerned about our kids being exposed to mold. Beyond this issue, there were several other concerns.The kitchen is not well stocked. There were barely enough plates, not enough bowls, and not enough silverware for the 6 of us. The mattress for the queen bed did not fit on the frame so it dipped way down at the foot. There were various lose fittings, towel holders, etc. The front steps to the driveway are falling apart. There was a lot of poison ivy outside. Some of the decor was disturbing for our young children. There were no instructions for check out, or anything else.The house has great potential, but definitely needs some improvements.

Friends weekend getaway

The house was clean and comfortable. The design of the house was perfect for a friends getaway weekend. On one floor were the bedrooms and a living allowed for quite conversation. Downstairs was the kitchen, gameroom, and another seating area for more rowdy gatherings. We all enjoyed our stay and would absolute recommend the rental.
