Cette élégante maison confortable sur pilotis 2BR / 2BA offre le paradis dans les Lower Keys. Cuisine récemment rénovée avec comptoirs en granit, nouveau réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle et micro-ondes. Nouveaux planchers d'érable en bois massif dans les deux Master Suites. Le nouvel air central et la chaleur, ainsi que les ventilateurs de plafond dans toute la maison offrent un confort total. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse complète à utiliser avec votre location. Décor de plage élégant et confortable tout au long avec un très grand salon carrelé ouvert et spacieux et un coin cuisine pour se détendre et profiter. Téléviseur à écran plat HD 55 pouces et lecteur DVD Blu-ray dans le salon principal. Il y a un canapé-lit queen et un canapé-lit double dans le salon. Les portes françaises de la salle à manger et du salon s'ouvrent sur un grand porche arrière avec de nombreuses possibilités de sièges et de repas donnant sur un paysage tropical luxuriant et un très grand quai privé avec ascenseur à bateaux, échelle de bain, canal calme et mangroves naturelles pour l'intimité. La suite principale a des planchers en bois, lit queen et une salle de bain privée complète avec comptoir en granit. Il y a une télévision à écran plat avec lecteur DVD. Portes françaises dans la suite principale ouverte sur le porche arrière donnant sur un quai privé sur le canal et un bel aménagement paysager. La confidentialité est récompensée par des mangroves naturelles de l'autre côté du canal, de sorte que vous ne regardez pas dans le porche arrière de quelqu'un d'autre. Grande chambre d'invité (2e suite principale) avec parquet, lit queen et salle de bain attenante avec une nouvelle vanité et un comptoir en granit. En bas a un grand espace ouvert avec barbecue, hamac, coin salon calme, paysage tropical luxuriant avec palmiers et hibiscus, échelle de bain sur quai privé avec ascenseur à bateaux électrique, station de nettoyage de poisson, douche chauffée extérieure privée et isolée et de nombreux autres équipements pour la détente . L'éclairage paysager offre de belles vues la nuit dans la cour avant, le quai et la cour arrière. Beaucoup d'espace pour un parking couvert, un camping-car et une remorque de bateau. Le parc d'État de Bahia Honda avec ses belles plages, le refuge de Big Pine Key Deer, le refuge Great Heron et le sanctuaire marin de Looe Key sont à quelques minutes de notre porte arrière pour profiter de la nature et de la tranquillité à son meilleur. Il y a de nombreuses options de restauration, de loisirs et de divertissement à quelques minutes, ou en voiture jusqu'à Key West à seulement 40 km et à 30 minutes en voiture. Le canal offre un accès rapide à l'océan Atlantique, au sanctuaire marin national de Looe Key, à l'île Picnic, à Little Palm Island et à un accès facile au golfe. Parfait pour la pêche, la plongée en apnée, la plongée et le homard. Le golf miniature est à quelques minutes à Boondocks et Key West possède un parcours de golf luxuriant. De nombreux voyages de plongée et de plongée en apnée sont disponibles juste à côté de notre maison. We soooo enjoyed 3 months living here

Our rental was great. The house is as lovely as described and as pictured. The furnishings are so tasteful and reflect the aquatic environment. It is so restful and quiet to sit outside and enjoy the beauty. It is easy to walk to the Tiki hut for Tuesday Trivia or to the highway and catch the Lower Keys shuttle to Key West or Marathon. The new 3rd bedroom is a vacation all on its own.

Top notch rental!!

This vacation rental is top notch!!!! While in an area that was clearly in Irma's path, Dan and Trudy really made sure that this home was in great shape and a prefect rental to be our "home away from home"! We spent two months at this rental home and we were sad when we had to leave! The dock has great fishing and tons of castnetting prospects as well as a plethora of wild life! The iguanas made their daily appearance we watched a few crabs crawling around across the canal and all from a very comfortable back porch that overlooked the canal. The inside of the home had plenty of space to accommodate my husband and I with our dogs! The kitchen is beautiful and we'll stocked to prepare just about any meal you could want. The beds we're comfortable and the bathrooms allowed plenty of space for us to both get ready in! We had family come and stay with us a few weekends and they also fell in love with the house! The tiki bar/restaurant at the beginning of the street was very convenient after a long day of fishing... We didn't have to go very far to have fun! We would recommend this "home away from home" to anyone!!!

Felt like home

We spent November and December 2018 here and enjoyed our time. The location is perfect. Breezeswept Beach Estates is a quite neighborhood with friendly people it is a great place to enjoy a morning walk with the dog and visit with all the other dog walkers. The access to the ocean by boat is great. We have a 19' center console boat that worked perfect there, room to spare. There was plenty of room below the house for the kayaks and bikes that we brought, as well space to park our boat trailer. We were able to use the freezer below the house for keeping frozen bait and fish. That was a big plus. The house was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the back porch in the evening. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook. The appliances were in great condition, some of them new if I am not mistaken. I would be happy to stay here again and can easily recommend it as a good place to spend some time in the keys. We had a great stay!

Thank you for a wonderful month! This home is very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the canal by both kayak and dingy and saw many shooting stars in the clear skies from the canal dock. Bahia Honda State Park and Zach Taylor State Park made the purchase of a park pass very sensible as we returned to both parks repeatedly. Key West is a lot of fun. Enjoyed many bike rides on Ramrod Key where people are friendly(: Overall, a great get-away.

Awesome winter stay-cation!!

Trudy and Dan have a wonderful home on Ramrod Key, FL. We rented their home for 5 mos from Dec 1, 2013 thru April 30, 2014. They could not have been more accommodating for us and even made their bait freezer and storage area accessible to us for our use and we can't thank them enough for that! Great house!! The home is just as pictured, inside and out, and we loved the quietness that surrounded us while we were there. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating on the back porch and the privacy the house has to offer with the mangrove trees on the property across the canal, which made it that much more enjoyable. We spent most evenings relaxing there with friends and cooking our meals. The hammock under the house is great for an afternoon nap!! The boat lift is a wonderful addition to the rental if you own or rent a boat during your stay. We had our Boston Whaler there with us and the homes location and ease of access to both the ocean and bay side of the florida keys couldn't be easier or any more convenient! We were out in our boat at picnic island (the local spot to pull up in your boat and wade in the water - with or without your dog) or fishing in hawk channel within minutes. We even toured up to the back country fishing a couple times. The local swimming hole on Mako Ave was well loved by our dog Duke!! The Looe Key dive center and tiki bar or Boondocks is just a two minute drive and both are within walking distance. We enjoyed stopping by the tiki bar for a cold beer. The people in keys are all very friendly and happy!! Such a nice change from the north in winter! You are only a 30 min drive to Key West or Marathon, both of which we went to plenty for dining, beaches or the annual seafood festivals. Getting around is very easy even on busy traffic days and Big Pine Key is 10 mins away which has the local Winn-Dixie grocery store and farmers flea market every weekend during the winter months. There are many great local restaurants from Big Pine Key down to Cudjoe that are a 10-15 minute drive. If you like cooking up your favorite meal at home stop by Fanci's Seafood for some fresh local fish or seafood on Cudjoe Key and don't forget to bring home a Key West Key Lime Pie Co. Pie! The neighbors are very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them along with all the residents that we would meet on our daily walks on the island with our dog Duke.
