We had an amazing stay at The Cub! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The amenities really stood out — the game room, fireplace, firepit, and large-screen TV made it perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully set up. The host was responsive and made the stay smooth from start to finish. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Great location with great hosts. Delivered a coffe pot to us at 5:00AM soon as I asked. Very reasonably priced in a great peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time!

We went to this rental for a ski vacation at nearby Camelback Mountain with family and a dog. The house is cozy and has a rustic charm, and is in a nice neighborhood. The owner is very thoughtful and called us during our stay to warn us about an approaching snowstorm. They also communicated immediately whenever we texted anything. Overall, we had a great experience. I would definitely rent with them again.

Great stay at the Cub House!

We had such a lovely stay at the Cub House! The home was just as pictured in the listing, immaculately clean, and the host, KC, was extremely responsive to questions. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of pots, plans, appliances, etc., and the host kindly left plenty of travel-sized toiletries in the bathrooms in case they were needed. Although the dishwasher was not working during our visit (which was not a big deal for us given that it was a shorter trip), we informed the host and were told that they would have it looked at as soon as possible. KC provided several great recommendations with respect to local hiking, activities, and dining. Great location close to skiing, a large grocery store, some local restaurants, etc. Highly recommended!

This property, located in a nice area, served as our central hub for our family vacation to the Poconos. It worked out well for us. The home, while having a dated 1970's look, has updated furniture and kitchen appliances and is nicely stocked with paper/cleaning products, a variety of board games, and large screen TVs.The property appears to be a work in progress. End table lamps still had purchase tags on them, artwork/mirror resting against walls on the floor, exposed wiring in the upstairs bedrooms, and at least one uncovered outlet downstairs.One of the fees for this VRBO corresponds to a club fee. While one of the property amenities lists a pool, it was not explained to us that this is for the Poconos Farm Country Club. Nor was the address for this location provided until asked for. It was disappointing that we had to hunt down this info. Once at the PFCC, we were able to access the pool and the beach, where we were able to use kayaks and paddleboards for no additional fee. Constructive criticism for this property:*fix sliding door locking mechanism; not just piece of wood in the track*label light switches*shorten curtains/material that currently touch floor heaters major fire hazard*tear down/replace the wooden playset in the backyard that is overrun with weeds*consider making the hot tub usable for guests*work on curb appeal a lot of empty potted plant containers in the front and many portions of the property fence have fallen down and/or missing

Perfecto para una familia

La casa tiene todas las comodidades que hacen que la estancia sea muy agradable. Echamos de menos una bandeja para el horno. Muy buena calefacción y la chimenea le da un punto muy acogedor. El entorno muy tranquilo con el bosque al final del jardín. Todo muy limpio. Ropa de cama y baño de buena calidad.El anfitrión pendiente de nosotros durante toda la estancia. Hemos estado muy agusto. Para repetir en primavera y disfrutar de la naturaleza de la zona.
