Mtn. Chalet Avec un cadre tranquille - prĂšs de tout!

Je suis tombĂ© en amour avec les Smoky Mountains depuis la premiĂšre fois que je mets les yeux sur eux. Vered et moi sommes descendus Ă  Gatlinburg pour certains R & R et prochaine chose que vous savez, nous avons achetĂ© un chalet Ă  la retraite Ă©ventuellement dans. Nous avons fixĂ© Ă  notre goĂ»t et maintenant la famille, des amis et vous ĂȘtes en mesure de profiter de dĂ©tente et une grande aventure ... d'oĂč le nom "Secondhand Lions" (un film que nous avons fonctionnalitĂ©s dans notre bibliothĂšque vidĂ©o)! IdĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  seulement quelques minutes du centre-ville Gatlinburg, haut de Mountain Ski (Ober Gatlinburg), allĂ©es calmes et, bien sĂ»r, l'entrĂ©e du parc Great Smoky Mountain oĂč l'aventure commence vraiment.

"Secondhand Lions" ... Tranquille avec tous les conforts de la maison! La grande salle est décorée dans l'art amérindien que je collectionnais au fil des ans. Nous avons exposé pour le plaisir de tous. Les chambres sont équipées d'une paire de Jacuzzi Hydro message Tubs pour que la relaxation profonde.

Entouré d'arbres et la faune font de ce séjour a été trÚs relaxant et confortable. S'il vous plaßt prendre une photo de votre séjour et envoyez-moi. Je vais afficher la meilleure photo du mois et choisir la meilleure photo de l'année pour donner une nuit gratuite aussi.

Dave was a great host. The house is beautiful and very close to Gatlinburg. When we were there the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were there to celebrate Thanksgiving and cooking our turkey dinner was no problem in the well supplied kitchen. I hope we can return someday.

Everything was as described. Loved the house. The hot tub, the two jacuzzi tubs. Decorated for Christmas. The Kureg upstairs made my day!! House smells amazing. And I really enjoyed the cedar wood throughout the house as well!!

We found this chalet exactly as described in the ad. It was exceptionally clean, very pet friendly for our 2 pups,and everything worked as it should. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub as it rained almost the whole week we were there, but the Jacuzzi tub was amazing after a long day in Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge enjoying the sights. We were very impressed with how close our favorite activities were within town, while still feeling secluded in the mountains, only 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, and 15-20 minutes from all the tourist attractions of Pigeon Forge. Then, only 10 minutes from some of the most breathtaking mountain views and trails that tge Great Smokies have to offer. We highly recommend the drive through the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trails. Our host was exceptionally responsive and checking in and out was a breeze. We give our host, and this chalet a definite 5 star rating across the board. I've read some of the other reviews on Secondhand Lions and a recurring complaint about the driveway accessibility, but we had no problems at all because we are prepared when visiting mountain terrain by driving a 4x4 pickup or our Jeep. We hope to book again very soon because we loved this place so much!

This place was exactly as described. So clean and very cozy. The driveway was steep but will not prevent us from staying here again. Loved that it was pet friendly. Would highly recommend this chalet.

This property was very nice could use some better cleaning on the jacuzzi tub for the jets but other than that very well maintained. I liked it a lot I for sure will come back. Very sad I didn’t get to see any bears but a bear was there while I was gone. Hill is very sharp turn to go into backing into is the best way to do it if able. I would recommend cutting a section in to put a fake grass area for a dog to use the bathroom in for them because when you got a sissy dog like mine they are very picky. She finally went but it’s not good for them to hold their bladder or poop like that. She didn’t poop at the property till the last day. Thank you David for allowing us to use your property!

Beautiful property, loved the pools.Wish there would have been an area for my puppy to feel comfortable however she did learn fast to use the driveway.The home was everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortably house was roomy and so nice to be able to space out and watch tv in different areas of home.Porch was nice to set on and enjoy the evening.

Driveway and parking is difficult very steep hard to get into, downstairs shower little water pressure couch not very comfortable limited seating for more than 4 jacuzzi was nice pretty view outside from porch jacuzzi tubs in each room is nice if you like that there was a problem with ants and spiders as well.

It was a nice property overall. The driveway was a bit steep. The only thing that needs attention is some cleaning. The kitchen needed some extra pots or pans that were newer and under the kitchen sink there was a lot of stuff that shouldn't have been in the kitchen.

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful chalet! Super close to downtown (light 10) but felt miles away and secluded. All amenities needed for a little getaway. Will definitely stay here again.

Pleasant, peaceful, clean!

The property was everything that was stated in the description. It was very clean, well provided for, and we had everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. The only thing that it lacked was a view. As far as the driveway is concerned, it was easily navigated, even with a large truck. It just required a reroute from Gatlinburg going through the entire neighborhood. No biggie!

Returning Hoosiers

We LOVE this chalet! We have been coming here for several years now. It almost feels like our own vacation home, thanks to Dave sharing his home with us! The chalet is located close to downtown Gatlinburg and to the bypass to Pigeon Forge, but still beautifully set in the mountains. The chalet is very clean and has every amenity we could need. Dave is an excellent host making the reservation and check in process a breeze. We have never had any issues while staying here and look forward to returning next year!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We were in Gatlinburg just passively looking at properties. We came across the one here at 991 Stans Road and fell in love with the potential. We refurbished it but still have big plans...for instance a waterfall with hot tub on the edge near the big windows. We want this to be our oasis because we love the area...it's like living a vacation!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

'Secondhand Lions' is uniquely positioned. It is close to just about everything...not far up the mountain....just right! It's cozy but very spacious...very relaxing while viewing nature out of all those windows.
