The newest barn from Big Sky Barnhouse (1st in Indiana) is located on 13 private acres w/ an event venue & amenities galore. The outside: saltwater pool, hot tub, fire pit, slide off the deck, pool-side lounge/bar, ATV loop, 8 RV hookups, plus a "Pet Penthouse" for your furry friends. The inside: mini full basketball court that converts to a nerf gun arena & dodgeball court. Also includes a movie theater, wet bar, & arcade. 30 guest max capacity, 7 bedrooms, 19 beds, 3 full bathrooms.

The host was welcoming. I had difficulty maneuvering the code changes to send email messages by phone. The house was perfect for our family gathering. There was even a Christmas tree! The kitchen was very well furnished with high quality items. The living area sofa, bar, dining table was a popular gathering place. The hot tub was great (for the younger adults) and we watched a movie in the theater one night.It was an enjoyable extended weekend in a private house set back from neighbors, but within easy reach of shopping and other local interest spots.Judy G.

The host was not responsive. We had major issues with the plumbing where we couldn't use the toilets, shower, or do dishes. We notified them. It took almost 8 hours for plumber to show up who told us the septic tank was full. He said we could use water sparingly. It made our stay very difficult. The response from the host has been very slow to respond and generic, not even addressing the issues.

This house was the perfect size for our family of 29 ranging from the age of 1 - 82 years old. There were beds for all of us, and the Kitchen was nice and spacious. We loved how the main room was so open and we could all be together. The pool was a huge hit for everyone especially since we have been in the middle of a heat wave. Check in and out were a breeze. There are only 2 things I would say weren't ideal, but would not stop us from renting the house again. Update the pictures on the rental sites, we pulled up to the house and it was red (love the red) we thought we were in the wrong place, and the downstairs was clearly changed but the pictures show the old lay out. Also supply towels for the pool, it is a nice convenience. Otherwise everything was great.We had a fantastic time at the house.

Great Barnhouse

Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The house was a great fit for a large group, and we especially enjoyed having the pool and hot tub just steps from the door. The huge lawn was perfect for playing corn hole and other outdoor sports. ( we brought wiffle balls and a bat)A few things for future guests to be aware of: as of early July, the VRBO photos haven’t been updated to reflect the remodeling. We were expecting an additional sectional seating area and a second full size refrigerator, but they were replaced with bedrooms after the pictures were taken. The gym set up was very different and there were only about eight Nerf guns, instead of the big wall. The basement bathroom also had a strong odor, like cat pee.That said, the house was clean and the host was very responsive and sent us a few items by door dash that arrived within the hour, which we appreciated.It definitely was a perfect place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our kids and grandkids! All 27 of us could eat meals together and made a ton of memories!

Annual Friends Weekend

Every year, a group of our good friends get together from all over to hang out for the weekend, adults and kids of all ages. This place was perfect! This is our 2nd year staying at a property hosted by Kyle and this place in Terre Haute was just as good as the last Big Sky Barnhouse in Arena, WI. Once again, we had a ton of space to spread out, sleep comfortably, eat together, swim and play games. Kyle answers so quickly when I have a question and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at any of their properties for your next family or friends reunion!
