Affordable St John Cottage with a Pool, AC & Amazing Tropical Gardens

New Moon Escape is an affordable family cottage nestled in a private, forested valley in Coral Bay, St John. This home can sleep up to 6. Upstairs has the master bedroom with King Bed and a small adjacent bedroom with 2 twin beds. Downstairs, the Media
Room has a pull out couch with memory foam mattress for easy conversion to a 3rd private bedroom. This home is off the beaten path about 3/4 in on a bumpy but not steep or scary dirt road.

Unlike other rentals in this range, the home and pool are completely private on a half acre of tropical gardens and walking paths. Fruit trees and flowing palms lead way to jungle paths that enhancing the magical natural environment. Take a stroll to the forested hammock deck for a nap in the shade or stretch out on the pool deck and soak up the Caribbean Sun!

Peaceful and quiet, this St John Cottage is perfect for couples, honeymooners or families with young children. Full Kitchen, Air Conditioning, High Speed Internet, Media Room, Private Pool and a screened in porch are some of the amenities that make New Moon Escape the perfect choice for your St John Vacation.

Rates are based on Double Occupancy. There is an additional charge for extra guests beyond 2 including children. The home is ideal for families of up to 2 adults and 4 kids max.

Great Escape!

Our 2nd time staying at New Moon was just as wonderful and memorable as the 1st. The villa was clean and inviting, and the pool was immaculate as ever! The property managers were very responsive and helpful. Excellent location, very private and safe. Can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful private property.

It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the main land. It was clean and quiet. The outside area was amazing. The outdoor pool area lighting was great, but pop the lights off for a few minutes to really take in the gorgeous night sky without the light pollution we have become accustomed to. It is breathtaking.

Lovely little jungle getaway.

It was a great private and secluded residence where we felt comfortable and safe. I would not recommend this for anyone not comfortable driving a 4 wheel vehicle but then again that's all anyone should be driving on St.John anyway! The pool was refreshing as well.

Cozy quiet comfort!

If you are looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood home at a good price from which to explore the island look no further! New Moon Escape offered my husband and I a comfortable sleep, near a great breakfast joint (Pickles in Paradise), and we swam or snorkeled all over the place. If you want high end this isn't it, but if you want cozy solitude book New Moon Escape!

Classic St. John

Nice, clean, private, comfortable house with beautiful grounds in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Deck and pool are perfect for non-beach chill out days and the screened-in porch is lovely. Owner and property managers are friendly, laid-back, good communicators, and very helpful. We loved our time here, would come back again!

Amazing hidden oasis

Honeymoon stay with the wife. Had a slight bit of miscommunication so we were a bit behind meeting with our host day of arrival but we got it sorted out. The house is a wonderful stay for couples or small families. Would definitely like to stay here again on future trips!

New Moon Escape was amazing

My wife and I stayed here for a week. We were the second users since the hurricanes. The location is perfect for great access to all the beaches and hiking trails. The New Moon team was great to work with and we really enjoyed our time in the home. The pool was so nice to have at the end of a hot day. We really enjoyed our time there and will be back!

I would offer all the stars in the galaxy for this rental. An oasis in paradise. We had everything we needed, peace, and traquility. 4X4 very helpful. We will be back.

Great communication with property management

Unfortunately our trip fell apart within hours of boarding our plane and we never made it to St.John. That said, we were definitely interested in staying here and my communication with the property management team was exemplary and very professional. We hope to try again in the future.

Peaceful Property

We really enjoyed our stay at New Moon. Basement was a bit musty smelling and dark, so we didn't go down there to watch tv. But who needs to watch tv in St. John. The property is peaceful with beautiful flowers and tropical trees, that was our favorite part.

Happy Holidays

This kind of cottage, off by itself, is perfect for a couple like my husband and myself. We like the quiet and the greenery surrounding the house. The WiFi functions well and the kitchen has what we need. We enjoy the mini-pool for taking a little dip and I love the hammock for lounging and reading. One does need a good Jeep to navigate the short but very rocky, bumpy drive in from the main road, but if you drive slowly it is fine.

Welcome too the jungle

Very private place. Great pool. Gas grill is a plus. Laundry on site. We visit St John often, and love trying new places. New Moon Escape did not disappoint. All you need too relax and have a pool day, or get out on the beaches. Convenient too stores and restaurants. Our host Jared was just a call or text away. Overall great experience!!!

Adorable clean secluded cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Its a very clean, secluded adorable cottage.We would definitely stay again. We are actually looking at our calendars so we can begin booking another stay. We really enjoyed the private pool after a long day of travel or after a day at the beach. The road is bouncy like others had said but we didn’t really have a issue with that once we found it. We did have a 4 wheel drive. The kitchen was well equipped and the ac kept it comfortable. I definitely give this 2 bedroom, 1-12 bath adorable cottage 5 stars.
