Nestled in a private country setting, just 15 minutes from Talladega Speedway, this delightful cottage boasts 2 charming queen bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with all the amenities of home. The living room offers an additional space with a nice sofa bed, and an additional queen airbed is available. Enjoy the convenience of a washer/dryer, WiFi, AC, and heating during your stay. The Cottage has 2 large decks, including a gas grill and comfortable outdoor seating.
Conveniently located minutes from I-20 and Hwy 77, we are 1 hour from Birmingham and 2 hours to Atlanta. We are also close to CMP(Talladega Marksmanship Park), Top Trails OHV park, Bike Trails, and Lake Logan Martin.

Everything on this property was so clean and fresh. The beds we comfortable and there was plenty of room to leave your things. The host was so friendly and everything was properly stocked. I would highly recommend this cabin it could not have been more quiet and lovely. Thanks for letting our stay feel so pleasant. Would stay again if in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. The house was very clean. The area was peaceful and quiet which was welcome after being at the race track all day.

We run a camp at shocco springs nearby and needed some additional housing for our band. This was the perfect location and was great for our group. Everything was very clean and had everything you could need. Will definitely be back next year.

Talladega Race Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at Shady Oaks! The house was exactly as described and has all the conveniences of home. The owners live close by and are lovely, even going above and beyond and bringing us delicious homemade baked goods. The house was extremely comfortable for our family of 4 and we will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Talladega area!

Peaceful and Tranquil

If you are looking for a place to clear your mind and be one with nature. This is your place. No busy streets, no loud noises, no city buses and no pollution. Sit outside and enjoy ample sunshine, listening to nature. I enjoyed my stay. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, plenty of natural light.

Unexpected gem

We were in town for a family reunion and were really, pleasantly surprised by this quaint little cottage. Its probably the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in across 5 states, super charming, and overall a quiet property. The property managers made themselves readily available to use and had an adorable welcoming committee made up of 2 poochies that our kids loved. Will definitely look them up again if needed!
