Very disappointed with the house cleaning trash outside on the porch no rags towels or trash bags missing a cover the living room and kitchen was nice but that was it also the bathroom sink water was noting draining

Had someone putting tile down at entrance so we couldn’t get into the house until around 6pm. It looked nice at first glance but looking deeper it was very dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned well from the last group who was here. There were eyelashes and hair brushes laying around, dirty floors and even had dog poop around the driveway. There was one role of toilet paper I had to get a pack for a 2 night stay.

Weekend in Cle

The house was pretty much as advertised. Communication went well up until we departed. Host added caveats to the rules pertaining to parking or having visitors past 10:00. We followed all rules including those for checkout. I received a message 3 days after departing thanking us for our stay and offering to host us the next time I visit Cleveland. A few hours later I received a request to pay an additional fee for smoking. No one smoked in the home
. NOT ONCE. I asked the host for clarification because I am certain no one smoked and never received any communication from them since. I have used VRBO and its competitor to travel the US with out any problems except for my visits to Cleveland. I think the owners in this city look for opportunities to scam the people renting as every time I have visited false claims have been made. This has not happened in any other city or state. I would recommend staying in a hotel to avoid being accused of things that didn’t happen. I know I will the next time I visit.

Newly renovated, well equipped and affordable

Property is the downstairs portion of an older home that's been renovated. Like many of the properties in Little Italy, the building is clearly older but the inside has been completely updated. The owners have stocked the kitchen well with a nice coffee maker, and plenty of dishes and cookware/utensils. Separate AC/heat units allow guests to control the temp in separate parts of the rental including each bedroom. The home is on a street near Coventry (try Tommy's!) and all but the last home (next door) and an apt building seem to have been renovated. Affordable option for visits to the area, CWRU events, etc. Would be great for friends gathering for homecoming esp b/c both units could be rented. You can hear folks walking in the upstairs unit, so if you are selecting which to rent, that could be a factor. If you are looking for the Glidden House, this isn't it. If you want to pick up some pizzas and gather around a large table with friends or family, this is perfect.

Best stay ever

There were a few ups and down through no fault of the Host at all but Mollie was very quick to respond to every inquire and made sure everything was situated. Amazing host, would rent again!
