Tranquille Lake House près de Seattle, Issaquah, Redmond

Idéalement situé sur le côté est du magnifique lac Sammamish pour fabuleux couchers de soleil et d'un cadre paisible, le chalet sur Sammamish est un lieu de vacances récemment rénové. Vous sentez reposé et loin du monde occupé. Beaucoup de gens disent qu'il sent que vous êtes dans un bateau avec les grandes fenêtres face et très près du lac.
Pourtant, juste en haut de la colline de la (5 min en voiture) maison est un grand Safeway et une multitude de boutiques et de restaurants pratiques à emporter. 10 minutes au nord et vous êtes dans le milieu de Redmond (ville Microsoft!) et le Centre Ville Redmond. 10 minutes au sud et vous avez Costco, Bestbuy, FredMeyer, etc sur la jolie ville de Issaquah. Les deux villes sont reliées par un sentier de l'état assez bien préservé qui passe à l'arrière de la maison, où vous pourrez marcher, courir ou à vélo. Le chalet est également à proximité de Seattle lui-même. (20 miles - 30 min)

Lac Sammamish: Le deuxième plus grand lac de la région de Seattle est de 7 miles de long, à 1. 5 miles de large avec une profondeur maximale de 105 pieds. Bordé au nord par Marymoor Park et le lac Sammamish parc au sud, ce lac est un idéal de sports nautiques. Vous pouvez utiliser nos 3 kayaks pour explorer le lac ou même notre paddle board lors de vacances au Chalet sur Sammamish.

A lovely relaxing home on Lake Samm.Wonderful host. Comes with a heron sitting on a large floaty, during early morning hours. If you are looking for a fun spot for lake activities, this is the place.

The water veiw is amazing . Host was accommodating, clean unit and comfortable. Parking is a challenge and it was difficult getting in and out on a busy road . Overall it was a good stay .

We just returned from an unforgettable stay at The Cottage on Lake Sammamish in Washington, and it was pure magic. Nestled right on the water, this charming little retreat felt like a hidden gem. Amazing setting and stay. We couldn't have had a better experience being right on the lake and adjacent to the east Lake Sammamish trail. Fishing off the dock with our extended families one day visit was a special highlight, while kayaking on glassy water and riding the trail provided lasting memories.

Awesome place!

This was a great place to stay. The home is right on the lake and also 5 mins from grocery stores and restaurants. We were in town for a concert in Woodinville and it was about a 20 minute drive- super easy. Beautiful, clean and comfortable home with AC and comfy beds. The host is friendly and helpful, we wish we could have stayed longer to hang out!

Beautiful and peaceful

This was a lovely place to stay, incredibly quiet and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the direct access to the beautiful walking/biking path that goes around the lake. The house is cozy and clean, with all the amenities you could need. The property managers are super friendly and considerate, we felt very welcomed.

Wonderful Lake Sammamish Lake House

We had such a wonderful time at this lake house. The property is just as the pictures and the location is simply perfect. Sunrise and Sunsets on the dock are spectacular. We took our teenage girls here for Spring Break and had the best time. Communication was very prompt and it was easy to find. I highly recommend this location.

Family Celebration!

It was great to return to the Lake House, this time to use the dock for boating and fun! As always, we were grateful for the well maintained (and stocked!) accomodations and thoughtful attention from our hosts. Area family joined us in celebrating our 50th and of course, we'll return again!

Holiday family time

This property, right on Lake Sammamish, was spacious enough for 2 adults and two children. Great views and access to the water. Kitchen and bathroom facilities provided everything we needed for a 12 day stay. Cable tv Netflix and many books for our entertainment. Several stairs lead down to the house from car park.

Right on the lake. Views do not get any better. Walkout to deck. Cool evenings/overnights - house warmed up easily. Not clear in listing - owner will meet you onsite to help with parking situation (not hard, but definitely was nice having it explained). Owner is different than VRBO manager - so expect communications from a phone call/text, not through VRBO. But owner was super nice and the experience was great!

'Life is an adventure' and 'dreams come true if you believe in them' I have been two sayings that have fit together in my life. One dream I had was to learn to speak Spanish. I had never studied Spanish in any
of my schooling, and while working and helping raise my family I never found or took the time. It was not until I was into my fifties that I took my first Spanish course, and after that it became somewhat of a 'hobby' and then a passion. This passion also spread to the Latin
culture and my desire to communicate and get to know people in Spanish speaking countries. The adventures started when I chose as my was of 'immersion' into the Spanish speaking world, to travel by land and mostly bus through Central America and extensively in Mexico. I did this by flying only one way to my chosen destination and returning to the boarder, usually in Tijuana/San Diego by bus or at times by boat. This included from Guatemala/El Salvador, Mexico city and my furthest destination was Nicaragua.
Another passion is for the outdoors and nature and that includes skiing in the Cascade Mountains in the winter.

I have lived on the east shore of Lake Sammamish for 40 years. My wife and I moved from the Philippine Islands after finishing my tour of duty in the Air Force, together with our 6 month old daughter, into a small cottage which is still a part of a now larger house that got added onto a room at a time over many years. The 'Cottage on Sammamish' is next door and from there guest can enjoy the same beautiful views, stunning sunsets and fun activities I've been having for decades
