We’re thrilled to unveil our newest SMILE Mass vacation retreat in beautiful Wellfleet, MA! Located on Ocean View Drive with 360° panoramic ocean views, this home is your perfect sanctuary to relax, connect, and create cherished memories. The property was acquired by the non-profit SMILE Mass in November 2024 and will be undergoing renovations January - May to make it handicapped accessible!

Here’s What Will Await You After Renovations:

3 Bedrooms & 4 Bathrooms, including a universal-design bathroom with a roll-in shower.
Accessibility at Its Best: Ramps, a Hoyer lift, adjustable beds, and adaptive equipment.
Indoor & Outdoor Bliss: Vaulted ceilings, private nooks, a 500 sq. ft. deck, fire pit, outdoor shower, and a fenced backyard.
Extras for Adventure: Bikes, beach chairs, and beach wheelchairs ready for use.


Please note, current pictures feature the home as it was when purchased. Additional photos will be added as renovations take place.

Although this is a new property for SMILE Mass to be renting, we have been offering a handicapped accessible property since 2018.

Nice and clean, very good communication, thoughtfully appointed. It had great views - but the beach is totally inaccessible. Even if you walk or drive to other locations it is essentially inaccessible for most people as well. So plan on driving to bay side for beach access. That would be the easiest. Also it was hard to get laundry done for so many beds and we spent a good part of the departure morning trying to get linens and sheets done - rather unsuccessfully.

The house was really nice, good views. The main floor is accessible, but the TV room and main entrance are down three stairs. The host contacted me the day before our last day asking if we could leave at 7:30am. When I said we couldn’t, he asked if contractors could come in at 8am. Eventually he allowed us to stay until check out at 10am. With a disabled father, it’s really difficult to get up and out that early and I felt very pressured by the host. My father knocked over a lamp and a decorative wheel and the host charged me 200 though I found them online for about 50. I feel like he charged me because we didn’t leave early like he asked. Overall, the place is nice, good price and the money goes to a nonprofit, but the host was a little pushy.

Beautiful house overlooking ocean where you can see birds and seals. Great place to unwind and explore the Cape. Very quiet location with a short walk to beach access at Beachcomber just down the road. Very well kept property.
