The Secretariat Room is part of The Townsman Hotel, a unique boutique “unhotel” experience located directly above Charlottesville's historic Downtown Mall. Situated between Mudhouse Coffee and Rockfish Brewing Company, The Townsman places you in the center of downtown's vibrant restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment while offering a simple, independent stay with no front desk or traditional check-in process. Guests receive a personal access code before arrival and can simply arrive and settle in with ease.

Please note that The Townsman is a historic building without an elevator, and all rooms require stair access.
