Welcome to this charming House on the Rock in Aurora. This brilliant property boasts 4 cozy bedrooms, including a king with full on suite bathroom featuring comfy bathtub, shower and walkin closet. The additional bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and is conveniently located near the kitchen and the half bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms with twin beds as well as a work/gaming space and a full bathroom. That additional office space with a futon, provides an extra place for sleeping, as well as a place to get some work done or play a game or two on the gaming console. Enjoy the new completely remodeled century old home, with beautiful stocked kitchen, featuring a gas range and custom cabinets with granite counter tops. Create unforgettable memories, or work from your home away from home during your stay at our House on the Rock.

Absolutely loved our stay at this property! Our host was terrific and she even left us some freshly baked cinnamon twists. This prperty was super clean and comfortable. It felt like home. We're even thinking about when we can come back for another stay.

Wonderful Place

We had a wonderful stay at Teresa’s home. The house is fresh and beautiful, comfortable beds and a very welcoming place to stay. There were little touches that showed she is an excellent host, from homemade cookies waiting for us on the table when we checked in to the charging stations conveniently placed around the house. I highly recommend staying here!

Reunion 2025

Family from Texas (we’re from Colorado) met us and stayed two nights before a 39 person reunion in Branson. My husband wanted to fish in the area and the Texans wanted to visit with friends they had enjoyed when they lived in Springfield.

This is the best VRBO I have booked. The owner is very responsive and the property is wonderful. It is a new renovated property that is very homey. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable. Very generous with the towels also.The cookies and cinnamon pastries that the owner provided were quite tasty. They also provided water as well as extra paper goods and kitchen supplies. The kitchen was well stocked.We were in the area for a wedding. If we were to be back in the area, we would stay there again.

House on the Rock is a 120 year old - new house. It has been totally restored from the roof down to the rock foundation. Beautifully done with hardwood floors, a real cooks kitchen and so much more!
House on the Rock is perfect for a great place for a business working trip or coming into the area to visit family.
It will be very easy to feel right at home in this beautiful House on the Rock!
