This is the place to unplug!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From bike riding, using the pool, kayaking, walking and eating amazing food this place more than met our needs for a weekend to unplug and get away. If it wasn’t so hot we would have played tennis! We are hoping to bring the family, our adult children, here next year for a weekend away.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rented the room for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It’s spacious and had everything we needed. The pillows and bed are incredibly comfortable. They even had amber lightbulbs in the bedside lamps. A nice touch for someone like me who hates the glare of bright white bulbs at night. The toiletries were generous and very nice and we had plenty of towels, so much so we didn’t end up using them all. The fridge was nice to have on hand and so was the coffee, as I’m an early riser and was up well before breakfast, so it was nice to have a cup while I waited for the world to wake up. It was also very quiet. We knew others were staying there, but we never heard them. The only negative was the elevator which was incredibly slow, but wasn’t a big deal once we got used to it.

Okay but not great.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at River Dunes. We stay rented a cottage the first time. The next time we rented a suite (facing the marina) but when we arrived they said they made a mistake and double booked our suite so we were put in a room with no view. The room was dark and dingy. We were given a discount but our stay was not as enjoyable. The next time was our anniversay and we stayed in Suite I. It was a nice stay - overlooking the marina, but the club house was not open and the cafe was on limited hours so we drove to Oriental to get things we could eat in the room. We booked the same Suite I this time but found out on the day of arrival that we were moved to Suite J - which was okay but again the view was of the parking lot and a dirt lot out of other window. The food and service in the clubhouse has gone down significantly since our first stay a few years ago.
