Wonderful Getaway with the Gals
We had a lovely time staying at Ashland Glamping last weekend! The cozy Jungalow was a lovely place for a girl's weekend retreat. The cabin was so clean and wonderfully decorated. The outdoor space was awesome, with a large upper deck, lower area with a firepit and hot tub. We were lucky and had great weather so we were able to enjoy the fire/outdoor vibes in late February. I slept in the main bedroom and the bed was comfy. This little cabin has some great amenities and cozy touches that make it really relaxing. The hot tub was incredible! It wasn't overpowered with chemicals which makes a big difference. We all enjoyed spending lots of time soaking in the evenings with a fire going in the fire pit!
We were a group of 6 so we were tight in this little cabin. Since we lucked out with the weather, it wasn't a big deal as we were able to make use of the outdoor spaces. However, next time we will plan to book one of the larger spaces because it was tight in there with 6 women in their 40s! We did want some hooks throughout the cabin to be able to hang up our stuff and the only place with hooks was in the bathroom. With 6 ladies we had a lot of bags, purses, sweaters, swimsuits, towels and other stuff. It would have been nice to have places to hang things throughout the space besides just in the bathroom. That isn't a huge deal though and we made it work just fine. Just a little something that would be helpful for larger groups or families to stay organized and keep towels/swimsuits dry. We did run out of toilet paper on Saturday evening but we reached out to staff and they brought some more for us.
This is a lovely place to get away and enjoy nature without having to travel far away from Lincoln and Omaha. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
