This breathtaking property is in perfect proximity to redwood parks, rivers and the coast. At the end of a quiet lane surrounded by forest you will get the relaxation you much need. Take a walk through the peaceful trees, watch the sun rise and have a great dinner at one of our many fine restaurants

We had a great stay. The place was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was lovely and convenient. Its only about a 30mins drive to the Redwood trails.

Hi Karthik, I am so glad you liked the place and had a good time! I strive to provide a comfortable experience. I'm not sure what trail you went to but there are much closer trail heads. The one at Jedediah State Park is only 5 minutes from the house and the trails at Florence Keller Park are only a few blocks away. Rebecca, Thank you so much for staying at my airbnb! I am very sorry the outdoor seating was not to your satisfaction. Usually people bar-b-que on the deck and sit on the patio furniture. If I would have known we could have set up a folding table and chairs for you outside. There is also the seating around the fire pit. It is a good idea to put a patio table outside. I will take that into consideration! Thanks! Madeline

Clean, updated accommodations on the outside of town. Felt private yet within minutes of crescent city and Jedidiah state park (grove of titans is a must visit trail). Travelled with my wife and young dog and we had a great time

The property was quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed. The home is very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again if in the area. A quick drive to the city and close to Oregon. The weather was ideal for the coast.

Had everything we needed

This house had everything we needed to help us enjoy our daily trips into the Redwoods. Food needs were met by the nearby grocery stores and restaurants in Crescent City.

We came as a family to honor grandparents who had lived and loved in the Smith River/Crescent City area. We cooked, we cried, we ended each day around the fire pit - it was private and convenient! Perfect.Thank you.

The tranquil meadow location on the edge of the redwoods -- with easy access both to the businesses in Crescent City and Jedidiah Smith park -- was a perfect spot for our family's vacation. The spacious home with a well-equipped kitchen made it fun to hang out and make meals. We loved the fire pit (s'mores!), and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching an elk graze in the morning. We were also grateful to be able to bring our dog (kept him on leash outside to respect the wildlife and keep him from heading off with the few neighbors' dogs who wandered through the property occasionally). The host and property manager were very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying again!

We loved the property surrounding the house as well as the neat and comfortable lodgings. The home was well stocked with supplies for us to cook with the family. The Redwoods were our primary reason to visit Crescent City and it was a perfect base camp with no close neighbors. Our host Madeline was kind enough to mail a forgotten item as well.
