Ocean's 1177 | 5 Bed, 3 Bath

This modern home is the house everyone wants. From the moment you walk through the front door, you know you have found your home away from home. This home has a magnificent view of the ocean and is just steps away from the beach! Take a stroll and hunt for beach glass and agates.

So many comforts await you. There are 5 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms;

one with a jetted tub to relax in after a fun filled day of walking on the coastal redwoods trails or after building sand castles on the beach.

Fully equipped kitchen, recently added more platter and bigger plates. Make yourself at home and cook whatever you like for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also closely located near restaurants if you choose to dine out. This home has a washer and dyer for guest convenience as well.

Nearby is the Brother Jonathan Park playground area and a lookout for the perfect sunset photo. Enjoy taking an evening stroll or an early morning run? Take the bike/pedestrian path just outside your door to the historic Battery Point Lighthouse and Museum, just make sure to visit at low tide.

This house is in the perfect location. You will LOVE staying here. Creating a spacious, clean environment where guest have warm showers, good night rest, great get togethers with friends and family over home cooked or catered food while enjoying everything that Crescent City has to offer, all this at a reasonable price.

Parking has been expanded in front of the house which accommodates 3 vehicles. If more parking is needed please make sure to ask us!

There is a granny unit in the back of the house which from time to time we may have a tenant and they do have there own parking spot in the back!

Everything was great. Just a few small things: the main bathroom toilet seat was sliding around. The screws were plastic and did not tighten. The upstairs couch was very dirty and could use a good cleaning. Some of the cooking utensils needed to be tossed and replaced. We managed and had a great time. Thank you

Wonderful location and amazing dwelling! Plenty of space and very clean! If you book with a big group, it’s cheaper than being in hotel rooms. And there’s more than enough space. Our favorite rooms were the upstairs living room with the big windows and ocean view and the kitchen! Highly recommend! The master bedroom has a very large jetted tub, it was luxurious! Will definitely be going back and I don’t usually go back to the same Air b&b. :) Picture is of the ocean from upstairs living room window!

amazing location

House is in a great spot, so close to the coast and downtown. Only one minor issue which was with cooking dinner, we were planning to grill since the listing indicated there would be one available, but there was no grill and property manager didn't respond to that one. Otherwise it was great. It's kind of a no-frills place, remember to bring your soaps and shampoos, and you'll want to keep your shoes on inside, otherwise your feet will be pretty dirty in a couple minutes. But we would come back!

Disappointing stay

We were really excited about this stay; the photos looked great, and the location was truly perfect. It’s close to stores, parks, and right across from the beach. Eating meals with an ocean view was a highlight.That said, the house lacked many essentials, which made our stay uncomfortable. The beds were a big issue; very noisy and uncomfortable, making it hard to get quality sleep. There were no basic toiletries provided, and while large shampoo and conditioner bottles were in the bathrooms, they were all empty.The kitchen was poorly equipped. The pots and pans were old and in such bad shape that we didn’t feel comfortable using them. One evening, we planned to grill dinner, only to find that the only grill available was rusted and stored in the garage; completely unusable.One of the biggest letdowns was the lack of a usable outdoor space. With kids in our group, it was hard to keep them entertained indoors the entire time.We travel often and usually stay in vacation rentals, and sadly, this was one of our worst experiences. The property has so much potential due to its amazing location, but it really needs attention to comfort, cleanliness, and basic amenities to be a truly enjoyable place to stay.

Family Loved This Place!

The house was wonderful. Location has easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. View of the ocean was great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our entire family proclaimed this best place we’ve stayed yet!

Great extended family rental

We had 3 couples, 2 toddlers and 1 infant stay together for 10 days over Christmas. This house has an excellent setup for such a large group with active children. The upstairs has a great room w/TV a bedroom with on-suite bath and a 2nd bedroom with 4 twin beds. The downstairs has the master bedroom on one side of the house with two large bedrooms with community bathroom on the other side. The upstaris/downstairs provides separation for early bedtimes and early mornings. Also - this house had just about every kitchen gadget you can imagine. We are a lot of panini sandwiches. Great house. Excellent location.

Great location. Great property manager

Family trip to Redwood and Pacific Coast. Great location overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Very good property manager (Alex) who communicated proactively, and who was very responsive. Plenty of space, but also good communal areas -- lounge and dining area for games and meals.

Excellent choice

We were very happy with the house. Everything was so clean and well organized and had everything we need. The house was very roomy for 10 people. The bed was comfy. Excellent view everywhere and convenient location, very short drive from Redwood park. Neighborhood was quite. The ocean in front of the house had beautiful sunset. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house on the coast with fab views!

The first thing that we noticed was the amazing view of waves crashing on the rocks just across the street. We actually saw whales the first afternoon we were there. I could have ocean gazed from the second story for hours in the rocking chair there by the window. All of the amenities were covered and we were super comfortable with plenty of space. Everything was tidy and well-organized. We had a fantastic stay. Contact with the hosts was very easy and accommodating. If we ever return, we will definitely seek out this exact property.
