We had 11 people for a family reunion and the place was excellent. Super fun time for our kids with the private pool and Beach Club access. The house is very well designed. We cooked everynight. The kitchen was fully stocked. Will definitely come back.

We truly enjoyed this fabulous house in Mauna Lani. The house is well maintained, has an amazing floor plan, is equipped with everything you need. The closeness to the hotel and the beach is also a big plus. You can't do better than this! We loved it!!

Our family had a memorable vacation at this high end vacation home. The amenities were top notch and Kathleen the property manager was very responsive. Loved the koi pond. Loved the proximity to the beach and tennis club where we went everyday. My son has already requested to book this place for his next B-Day. Will be back for sure. Perfect for our family vacation

We stayed here to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. The house was beautiful, exactly as pictured, and comfortably accommodated 3 different couples. The location was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. It was also a short drive to Kona and several other shopping centers. We were also able to utilize the fitness center at the clubhouse which was great. We would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the island that wants all the comforts of a home vs staying at one of the local resorts.

A golfer’s dream property

Property located inside a top notch golf resort but also minutes away from other golf venues. The house is set up for small group entertainment and we had our first ever private chef service and it notched up our dinning experience to another level. Property manager very attentive to address your tiniest issues. Can’t wait to come back!

Luxurious accomodations perfectly suited for our family

We enjoyed this home immensely. It has everything you could ask for and more. Overall great home design, well appointed with all the amenities (my personal fav was the Meile coffee maker!) and beautiful art. Great kitchen for cooking in and enjoying the peaceful location, but also super close to the Mauni Lani Resort, Beach Club, and shopping. We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas as a family in this home-away-from-home. Thank you Barry for being so responsive and helpful! Hope to be back sooner than later and we would absolutely love to stay here again!

Lovely Home

We very much enjoyed our time in this home-it was so beautiful, the art, the very quiet and gated neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with Wolf appliances, Miele built in coffee maker, ice maker-we really enjoyed preparing dinner together as a family as there was plenty of elbow room for all 6 of us. Being that it was such a quiet neighborhood you could hear the distant waves crashing at night. We also had access to the Beach Club for snorkeling and afternoon dips in the ocean-4 beach chairs and snorkel gear were available along with some pool floats in the garage. It was the perfect, restful-relaxing home for our family vacation.

Pool Heat Issues

It’s our third stay at this property and we love the house and neighborhood. This trip was sadly very different as there is some new policy about heating the pool and hot tub. You need to pay $300 extra to get the pool warm. We happily paid the extra but then weren’t allowed the freedom to heat the pool or hot tub outside of very limited hours. I liked getting up at 5 to watch the sunrise from the hot tub, but it’s not very pleasant when it’s cooled to 81 overnight. The kids like to go swimming early before breakfast but were cold. My wife hates being cold and barely used the pool this trip. After paying a small fortune in airfare, rental car, and a very expensive rental home, this penny pinching by the owner was unacceptable. I even offered to pay more than the $300 but no - very disappointed as I sit here and listen to my family complain about this trip.

We are happy to heat the pool for guests, with a high of 83 degrees, which is a standard at many hotels. This policy is not new, and it is clearly stated in the house rules, welcome guide, and on the thermostat. When you arrived you immediately disregarded this rule and set the pool to an unacceptable 90 degrees. Once I reached out we agreed the pool could be set to 87 for an extra fee. After this, you continually heated the pool up to 90 degrees and left it running all night. The pool is not designed to be set that high, it’s not good for the unit and that’s what the spa is for. Since you are blissfully unaware, on the island of Hawaii this behavior is wasteful and extremely expensive. We continued to turn off the heater in the middle of the night to reduce this waste. Because you did not get exactly what you wanted, in the manner of a petulant child you decided to dump trash in the pool, put a hole in our outside daybed, leave the house in disarray with the back door open, and walk out with the money you agreed to pay for heating the pool above house rules. I have many pictures providing proof of this outburst and so does VRBO. As a result, you are NEVER allowed back to any of our properties and VRBO is currently investigating the damages.

Beautiful house with some minor issues

We had trouble finding the property. The neighborhood itself was pretty barren with nothing much around. Our directions led us to the gated community, but didn’t include the house number. We contacted the owner after driving around for awhile and were given the full address. There was quite a bit of construction happening all around the house, which we wished we had known before making the reservation. It was a bit noisy during the day. This property itself was beautiful. Beds were comfortable, ample a/c and fans, well appointed kitchen and laundry facilities. Lovely furniture and decorations. Bedding and towels and all the necessary amenities were included.The pool area was lovely, but the pool itself was full of bugs and plant matter for the first couple of days (my kids refused to get in). A pool cleaner was sent out, which was appreciated, but we weren’t given any notice and discovered someone there early in the morning while in our pajamas. All in all, we loved the house itself, but weren’t a fan of the location as there wasn’t much nearby.

Perfectly suited for our Big Island housing needs

The property was absolutely perfect in all ways. The neighborhood is scarcely built out at the present time which adds to its seclusion and privacy. The house layout and accommodations are amazing. Kitchen incredibly well appointed with everything needs for a week stay...and much longer. The art work is simply amazing throughout the entire house.. We spent the majority of our 8 days on the island at or near the house so we truly loved it. The location is very central to just about everything in the Mauna Lani area. The pool is small but perfect for a small group, and especially for my wife and I. The property manager was helpful and not intrusive. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic home

His is an absolutely gorgeous home, from the beautiful koi pond entrance to the interior. The furnishings are beautiful and there is far more artwork than we expected. We liked the layout with the bedrooms separate enough to insure privacy. It was very well stocked with kitchen and laundry supplies. The welcome gift from the owner was so nice and included some wonderful coffee beans. We highly recommend it to other families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing property with tons of seating

This property has two full master suites with bath tubs that open out to a garden area. Amazing. It has a small guest house with its own bathroom. It has tons of seating area for sit down dinners and lots of lounging seats indoor and out. It really is a perfect property for entertaining. If you are looking for something that will sleep 8 plus people this isn’t really what it is set up for. The property is tastefully decorated and very well laid out. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Value for money, this place is excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay in this beautiful home. It was clean, well-appointed, and decorated in a contemporary, Hawaiian style that was elegant, comfortable and authentic. The floorplan is excellent with the 3 bedrooms at the perimeter of the house. The location is also excellent—within walking distance to the Mauna Lani Hotel and a long but doable walk to the Beach Club.

Excellent property

This place is beautiful! Located in the beautiful Mauna Lani resort area. Close to many beaches. The house is clean, well stocked, amazing layout. Deck doesn’t get sun all day but you can maneuver around to get it. Pool is great for kids. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans and utensils.
