This memorable waterfront apartment is the perfect home base for your trip to Ocracoke. With 1 queen bed, heating, AC, WiFi, and a cozy indoor and outdoor shower, you will feel right at home. The cool vibe of this superb space is ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the beaches, fishing or just relaxing on this magical island. This apartment has more than 50 feet of waterfront dockage for fishing from or for your boat. There is a fish cleaning bench, outdoor grill for cooking and a hammock under a live oak. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Ocracoke and our apartment has to offer. You can rent this as a stand alone 1 bedroom or you can rent it with Sea-esta 2 for a total of 3 bedrooms.

The pictures don't show how nice this 1 bedroom unit is. Wonderful location on canal. I agree with the Clinton W. review of this home. Gloria was a great hostess and answered questions promptly. Loved our stay and love Ocracoke. Will be back. Thanks Gloria.

My husband and I both agree that the pictures do not do this home justice! Sea-Esta 1 is a one bedroom, one bath, top-floor apartment accessible by well-maintained stairs. Inside is an open concept full kitchen and living room with a cozy table for two and a comfy sofa for watching TV. It is fully furnished with all the amenities you might need during your stay. The middle floor of the house, Sea-Esta 2, is a seperate two bedroom apartment that is available for rent. The house really is right on the water and the apartment has a great porch overlooking the canal. We really enjoyed drinking coffee out on the porch while taking in the beautiful views. My husband loved being able to fish right off the dock in the morning. A fish cleaning station is avaliable as well for the big, lucky catches. Underneath the house is a well maintained parking area with one parking spot per unit. Also on the ground level is a laundry room and the outdoor shower. Kayaks are avaliable and we had a lot of fun taking them around the island and through the waterways. The hosts, Gloria and Jr, are super nice and accommodating. Their golden lab was so friendly, too. We truly felt right at home here. The location, the privacy, and the coziness of this apartment made our trip even more perfect. We cannot wait to return to Ocracoke Island and Gloria and Jr's charming home.

The photos of this place do not do it justice. This place is one of the BEST hidden gems. Gloria and her staff and phenomenal. Her communication was excellent. The upstairs was perfect for myself as a solo traveler with my dog. It literally was like home away from home. The shower and water pressure were fantastic! I brought a fan just in case, and ended up leaving it in the car because the cooling system was great, especially in the summer heat and humidity. The view from the top deck was beautiful especially at sunset. I have already planned my next trip back in September. This is a perfect spot of a solo traveler or couple traveling. The lower floor is completely separate and private. Gloria even gave me a tour of the lower floor on transition day as I was departing. It was lovely meeting the neighbors and interacting. I look forward to returning for a longer trip next summer and hopefully renting the entire house for additional family. Thank you Gloria, for the best summer getaway. While I intended to stay as a photographer on business, it truly felt like a vacation! Blessings! See you again soon!
