River Zen, A Toccoa River Retreat

With easy access to Blue Ridge, you can explore hiking trails, local shops, and stunning vistas, making it the perfect base for your outdoor adventures.

River Zen greets our guests with the utmost view of the Toccoa River inviting you with the sound of rushing water 24/7. Our expansive deck gives our guests plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view.

The open floor plan cabin provides plenty of room to move about, giving our guests the space they need while also bringing everyone closer together. The kitchen, living room and sitting area next to the fire are a great place too cook, read a book, watch your favorite movie on our 42` Smart TV, play games or simply chit chat. The bathroom is located on the main floor just outside bedroom #1, while bedroom #2 is just up the stairs.

The main room offers a comfy queen bed with a few antique touches for those who enjoy old things. There is a large closet for storage, a 32` Smart TV, two bedside tables, a lamp for a low lighting option and a fan for those warmer summer days.

Bedroom #2 is equipped with two Twin XL`s, perfect for kids or even taller adults, oriented to face each other for easy night time conversation. There is a dresser for clothing storage, a chest, additional chair and a coat rack.

The outdoor patio and deck space is plentiful! You can walk right out (almost) over the river. We provide several seating options and a grill for all the grill masters out there. Catch a fish? Throw it on the grill!

The cabin is located in close proximity to some amazing neighbors (also the owners of River Zen). They are more than accommodating and will respect your space, if you want, or hang out and chat if you`re the outgoing type. There is a large fire pit in the backyard along the river and firewood is provided. You may want to bring your own lighter though as they tend to go missing when left out.

The bocce` ball court is for your use so please enjoy! Right across from there is where you will access the river safely. There are wooden steps that go directly down to the water.

While this is a free standing cabin, the outdoor decks wind and connect to the next home so please be courteous of any signs that say `private` and do not cross.
