The Space:
What can we say about Sierra State of Mind other than - IT IS MAGICAL! From the beginning, this home was a host favorite and has quickly become a guest favorite as well! It’s one of those homes you rent that continues to surprise you throughout your entire stay. From the namesake coasters to the Lake Tahoe mural, you and your family will have an amazing Tahoe experience. These owners are a young family who live one hour away. They spared no expense decking their home out and continue to do so based on the needs of their guests. This home exemplifies the Sierra state of mind!

TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCE
The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come!
1. The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm (if this home has one)
2. 10pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals.
3. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.
4. We cannot host extra people or allow parties.
5. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt.
6. The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.
PLEASE NOTE: Neighbors may alert the police who will issue fines to guests found to be in violation. In order to protect this owner’s permit we do reserve the right to ask guests to leave this home. This is a very rare occurrence and one we hate doing so we do our best to warn our guests before it comes to this.
The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.

Interaction with Guests:
You will check in by going right to the home using our keyless entry system. Your door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by the check mark button that will activate at 4pm. Make sure to pull the door toward you when you put the code in to ensure the deadbolt is aligned. We have a 24 hour customer care team and a local team available during business hours.

Tahoe Escape

Amazing cabin close to downtown but far enough away to enjoy the Tahoe country. Great family set up and amazing amenities for adults and kids. There is something for everyone here including amazing cooking space, hot tub in the snow, custom Bathrooms, arcade and open floor plan upstairs for everyone to enjoy. Baby gate on the stairs was very helpful. 10/10 want to book next years trip already

Spacious tahoe house

It was really nice to stay at a property that was new. Love that there was a huge garage and long driveway — that was flat and easy to drive into. The open floor plan was great to maximize time together. Love that there were 4 bathrooms in addition to the 5 bedrooms. I appreciate the cookware was also nice and not scratched up like other places we have stayed. Also we appreciated there was a baby gate at the top of the stairs especially since we had a couple toddlers with us.

Great home! Great vacation!

We loved the home and the neighborhood! Very quiet property yet close to groceries and convenient to lake. Cleanliness and attention to detail was much appreciated - no clutter, tastefully decorated. Would definitely consider staying here again - Quick responsive team when minor issues arose(garbage cans almost full upon arrival) - Only issue was with management company upon departure when I had requested confirmation of satisfactory conditions/no additional charges and never received word back - that was 3 weeks ago....otherwise, great place!!!

Fantastic!

Everyone loved our stay at your home! It was everything you advertised it to be and more than we expected. We were very carefull to be sure no damage would occur. We followed the book detailing the steps for leaving. I'm sure your cleaners will appreciate the work we did to leave it nearly as spotless as when we arrived! There is a problem with the ice maker, which I reported right away when we arrived. Also the plugs on the patio off the kitchen do not work-they GFI could not be reset. We checked the breaker box and all the circuit breakers appeared to be set so not sure what the problem is. Again, thanks for lending us your home-it was great!

Lake Tahoe

Overall, our experience at this property was amazing. We had 11 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is gorgeous, and is located in a little quaint neighborhood right south of South Lake Tahoe. However, with the quaintness came the ridiculous neighbors. We had 3 instances where the neighbors called the police or property manager because of noise. When the police came out, they just laughed because they couldn’t even tell there was a soul awake in the house. The property manager was awesome about the situation and kept us informed every step of the way. We were a very reasonable guest- no parties, or excessive music, however, if you were to even step outside past 10 PM and make the slightest of noise, the cops were coming. It was very annoying, but as long as you can keep your party under control, it is a very small blink in the overall experience.

Family Tradition Success!

We loved our stay at this property! Myself, my 5 adult children and 2 grands stayed comfortably. The upgraded design elements in this home were perfect. Cozy yet modernized. I cooked and baked while there. Full kitchen and for the most part, had everything I needed. If you need more that 1 spatula or mixing spoons, bring them. They provide 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person, so I brought a set of our own just in case. There is a wonderful laundry room with machines, so we easily washed things as needed. Management was very responsive and helpful. We are already talking about coming back for the summer months! Gorgeous, beautiful and quiet! Thank you! ❤️

Sierra State of Mind/Tahoe Paradise was Awesome!

This place was better than what we expected from the pictures. It was so spacious and laid out with great flow. We appreciated the modern design and touches. We had a blast cooking family dinners every night and looking out into the forest from the deck. The kids had a blast having their own space to hang out in the downstairs den. And having 4 bathrooms was a godsend! It was a great convenience having the attached garage to get groceries or us in and out of the house. It's a nice quiet neighborhood thats great for walks and runs. We loved every minte of our stay! Thank you!

Spacious Modernized Home in a Quiet Neighborhood!

Our families enjoyed one week stay at this recently renovated home which is located ~10 min to South Lake Tahoe. The home was well furnished with enough kitchenware for homemade meals and a high BTU 4 burner grill. If you plan to cook a big pot of phở 🍜, bring your big pot as they have the normal size ones. Bring extra corianders if you plan to cook at home more regularly. They only have one. We brought our own stuff and we were Gucci. Checking in and out were easy w/o any personal interactions. Communications were easy w local and central contacts. The staff were very pleasant and super fast in their responses. They were proactive —texting us to ensure we were settled and got what we need for our stay. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us and for being so fabulous with your superb services.

Convenient and contemporary home for groups

Overall the property was great. Lots of space for our small group and a kitchen to cook a few meals and bake some pies 🥧 If there's one improvement, I'd recommend providing basic toiletries like most Airbnbs do nowadays. Luckily we brought our own. There's also just enough towels, one per person, and no extras. It's a little inconvenient if one gets soiled, especially in the winter.

Wonderful family home with tonsof space

We loved this property - it was in a convenient location for all things South Lake Tahoe. We had 7 adults and 4 children and it was the perfect size. It had everything we needed. The only recommendation I have is to keep some of the doors open in the afternoon to get a cool breeze. The weather is so perfect in Lake Tahoe that this property doesn't have AC. Just a fan upstairs. The lower level got stuffy, but we opened a couple of windows downstairs and problem solved.

Beautiful house!

Loved this property. The only thing to make it even better would be to add a hot tub and have a few extra a towels. Otherwise the place was great and I would definitely stay there again.

Nice and new house that needs a few more amenities for the cost

The house is nice and brand new when we stayed here. There are several items still needed at the house. We paid about $3K more than some of the houses that were similar in size and number of bedrooms. Would love to stay here again if the cons below are addressed and the price comes down. Pros: - House was brand new - Bedrooms are nicely sized and will accommodate 4 couples plus and extra bedroom for kids - Plenty of space for cars and huge garage -Video games and downstairs game room great for entertaining a group downstairs and another upstairs in the main living room Cons: - Post says it has a hot tub, it does not - There is no grill - Towels are small! Wouldn't hurt to invest in some towels that grown adults can use - Nothing to play music on inside of the house - No hangars in the house to hang clothes!
