This place was great for us. We didn't want to pay high end Palm Springs prices, and prefer a local vibe. This is close enough to everything in the area, we didn't drive more than 20 minutes to any golf courses we played. The house is set up with lots of TVs, the kitchen is full of pots and pans and dishes, the beds were comfortable. It's not a brand new place but it's well kept and cleanliness was good. The host was very friendly. A big part of our choice on this place was it has a hot tub. There's a nice grill outside, seating areas, covered and shaded and sunny. The temps were unseasonably high during our visit and it was nice that this house was always about 10 degrees cooler outside than down in Palm Springs proper. The AC worked great. Wifi worked great. The hot tub was a big draw for us and after a little miscommunication it was great. I'd suggest as a guest- get the instructions for how it works up front. To our host- maybe leave an instruction sheet for guests on how to fire it up. It was a nice relief for sore old muscles after lots of golf. We didn't use the pool- the super high winds that came through a few times made a big mess, and bad luck the pool cleaner robot contraption was down. I am not one to blame ownership for bad luck. This is a great bargain and a very nice host. Great local food, taco places, etc. Also of course can just drive into wherever you want quite easily.
