The Space:

Bon Bida Flamingo is a 150 m² ground-floor apartment with two bedrooms, each with two single beds, and two full bathrooms. The open kitchen flows into the spacious living room and is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and an ice maker. Outside, you have your own terrace and access to the shared garden and pool.

Good to know:

- Unpaved access road: the road leading to the complex is unpaved and can be a little bumpy. A standard rental car is perfectly fine, but expect the classic Bonaire massage on your way in.

- No A/C in the living room: the bedrooms have air conditioning for a cool night's sleep. Ceiling fans and openable doors and windows provide ventilation in the living room.

- No BBQ: barbecuing is not available on-site. The Seru Largu viewpoint has a public BBQ facility with a spectacular panoramic view over the island.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Bon Bida Flamingo, you have full access to the entire apartment: both bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the open-plan living room with kitchen, the private terrace, and the shared garden. Guests also have access to the shared swimming pool of the Bon Bida Apartments complex. Free street parking is available directly in front of the property. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the apartment and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally. The Sunwise hosts for Bon Bida Flamingo will coordinate the details of your arrival with you in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Bon Bida Flamingo is located in Hato, a residential strip north of Kralendijk, stretching from Harbour Village toward Sabadeco. The neighborhood strikes a pleasant balance between tranquility and convenience: during the day, beach clubs, dive resorts, and the northern shore dive sites are all within easy reach, while evenings bring the calm of a quiet residential setting. Restaurants and shops are just a short drive away, making Hato an ideal base for families and active water sports enthusiasts who want to get out and explore without sacrificing peace and quiet.



Bon Bida Flamingo is approximately 800 meters from Zhung Kong supermarket, 850 meters from Dive Friends Hamlet dive center, 270 meters from Isidel Beach Park, 2.5 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 550 meters from Rum Runners restaurant.

Bari Reef is globally recognized as one of the most fish-rich dive locations in the entire Caribbean. The REEF survey program has recorded more than 300 different fish species here, making it one of the most biodiverse shore dive sites in the world. Isidel Beach Park is the gateway to this underwater paradise: a public beach park with facilities where you can easily slip into the water. Grab your snorkel mask or scuba gear, because this is one you absolutely cannot miss.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Bon Bida Flamingo. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Bon Bida Flamingo is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
