À propos de cet hébergement
Victorian Retreat: Peace, Serenity, & Character
Welcome to our enchanting Folk Victorian home -- Originally built in the late 1800s, this lovingly maintained historic home offers a unique, character-rich getaway just 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 15 minutes from the airport. Set on 3/4 Acres of wooded land with mature trees and a garden, this spacious home offers a peaceful, semi-rural atmosphere with convenient access to city life.
Perfect for small groups and Ren-fair enthusiasts looking for nature, space, and charm near Atlanta, you'll love:
✨The spacious common areas with vintage charm and modern functionality
✨ The fully stocked kitchen, perfect for group meals
✨ Retreating to peaceful bedrooms designed for rest (no TVs)
✨ Having a dedicated workout area
✨ Working in a spacious library equipped with a powered standing desk and extra monitor, ideal for digital nomads
The property is surrounded by trees, so expect some natural outdoor debris and local wildlife typical of the area.
For full transparency, please review the “Please note” section of the listing.
Guest access:
Guests have private use of the home and outdoor areas, though workers may stop by to care for the yard and hens (with advance notice).
Please note:
- The home is not suitable for those seeking a new build with modern and luxury finishes
- This is a historic property, and many original features remain. Some interior doors do not fully latch or lock.
- The property is near train tracks (visitors have found the noise to be minimal, and none have reported issues at night)
- This is our primary home when we are not hosting, so please be respectful of the space and the neighbors
- We do not spray the yard with insecticides, since those also impact beneficial garden critters, but we do encourage guests to bring topical lotions & sprays for personal use. Especially to protect against those pesky ATL mosquitoes.
- Bedrooms are minimally furnished and do not include dressers or vanity tables.
- Decor features may vary from listing photos, especially with seasonal changes
- Early and/or late check-out may be accommodated for an additional fee, if available. Please message us to inquire.
